Why is the normal lime blossom tea no longer available? Here, too, you are forced to buy organic, which I don't agree with!

Hello indios, we have removed this item from our range due to low demand. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Aha, then you just leave the organic version on the shelf.... What an excuse!

Please reintroduce the Teatime tea Linden Blossom to the range due to its better taste, great value for money and less packaging material!

Hello lindenblütler, as you correctly wrote, we have taken the tea out of our range. We had a conventional lime blossom tea and an organic lime blossom tea in our range. Due to limited space, we have removed the conventional tea from the range. We have opted for the individual packaging of the organic tea bags due to their shelf life and taste. We will be happy to forward your request to have the Teatime tea back on the shelves to the specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why is the 50-bag lime blossom tea from TeaTime no longer available? I drank it almost every day and liked it better. It was also cheaper.

Hello Lilylina, yes, we have taken Tea Time Linden Blossom out of our range. Unfortunately, the sales figures showed that it hardly had any fans left. However, we have informed the relevant specialist department that you would like it back. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Lilylinda is not alone. The lime blossom tea from TeaTime was extremely popular in our whole family. We had been looking for supplies for some time. Well, now we know why we can't find TeaTime anywhere anymore. But the fact that TeaTime is no longer available means that organic tea is now sold out in entire regions :(

Exactly - we were big fans and are hoping for a return!

Why don't you also offer a lime blossom tea from the region?

Hello ivan92 In which region do you prefer to shop? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

What is so BIO about these lime blossoms?

Hello guest

Agricultural products and foodstuffs from organic farming are subject to a special food law regulation, the so-called ÖKO regulation. This regulates all requirements for organic products, from cultivation and production to declaration and marketing. Community framework regulations on production, labeling and inspection are necessary to protect organic farming, as they ensure fair competition between producers of such labeled products.

Checking compliance with production regulations requires checks at all stages of production and marketing. All businesses that produce, prepare, import or market products labeled as organic must undergo a routine inspection procedure that meets the minimum Community requirements and is carried out by the competent inspection bodies and/or approved and supervised private bodies.

The application of the organic seal of approval, which you will find on the packaging, guarantees organic cultivation.

That's a lot of blah blah. I would like to know in what specific respects organic lime blossom differs from non-organic lime blossom. I have been picking lime blossom for many years. I don't know what controls would be appropriate for organic goods that go beyond the controls for non-organic goods.
Your comments are not suitable for strengthening my trust in the organic quality label.
Many thanks and best regards

Hello guest
As already mentioned, the application of the organic seal of approval guarantees organic cultivation. The term "organic" is regulated by law both in Switzerland and abroad. Migros also pays particular attention to compliance with and strict control of the guidelines.
The Migros organic program is based on these principles:
- Careful treatment of nature and the environment
- Production in harmony with natural cycles
- Promotion of natural soil fertility
- Preventive plant protection instead of chemical pesticides
- Animal-friendly husbandry
- Ban on genetic engineering
- Ban on air transportation
All organic products from Switzerland come from farms that are certified with the Bud label in accordance with the strict requirements of Bio Suisse. Bio Suisse is the Swiss Association for Organic Agriculture. Imported products from abroad must meet the requirements of the European Organic Farming Regulation.
At Migros, Swiss organic products are always preferred to foreign products in order to protect the environment and promote local farms. We only import organic products from abroad if necessary. Of course, transportation by air is also prohibited here.
The processing and trade of organic products in and from Switzerland must comply with the requirements of the Swiss Organic Farming Ordinance. The processing of organic products in and from abroad must comply with the requirements of the European Organic Farming Ordinance.
In Switzerland and abroad, state-recognized and independent organizations monitor compliance with all guidelines. These include Bio-Inspecta, Procert and Imo. If they identify any breaches of the regulations, they impose strict conditions on the farms. In the worst case, a farm can be excluded as an organic supplier.
