Dear Migros
Please grind the linseed so that it can be better absorbed nutritionally. Otherwise, if not chewed, they will be excreted undigested and unused.
Grüezi wohl. Are these golden linseeds or normal (brown) linseeds? I'm confused by the light color and that they are not described as golden/yellow. Thank you very much for your feedback!
Hello Migi-chind, thank you for your inquiry. We only use yellow lentils, which are easier to digest than brown lentils. There may be slight variations in color depending on the origin. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, similar linseeds are available from Alnatura. Recently, they are no longer suitable for raw consumption (label on the packaging), probably because of hydrocyanic acid. My question: Are Migros organic linseeds also not suitable for raw consumption or are there differences? Thank you and best regards
Hello marco2004, thank you for your question. As things stand today, organic linseed is suitable for raw consumption. Since the beginning of 2023, a new European regulation stipulates that the words "not suitable for raw consumption" must be included if the value exceeds 150 mg/kg hydrocyanic acid. This regulation has not been incorporated into Swiss law, which is why this information is not currently included on our Migros organic linseed packaging. We are keeping a close eye on the further development of this issue and are in close contact with our suppliers. If necessary, we will also take measures, but the recommended daily amount of 2-3 tablespoons is still harmless to health. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello When will the product be back in the stores? Kind regards
Hello Pemm, unfortunately there has been an interruption in the supply of linseed due to a shortage of raw materials. We assume that we should receive goods again around the beginning of April. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Are these linseeds no longer available?
Hello taucherli, the organic linseed is expected to be available on our shelves again from the end of August. We apologize for the delay in delivery. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
The end of August is long gone and still no sign of the organic linseed (whole). Instead, there are plenty of crushed (and therefore devalued) ones. Perhaps because it is easier to add dead insects, as the current trend dictates ...
Hello m_nicholson, thank you for your message. Unfortunately, there are delays. We expect to be able to offer the products again from calendar week 39 (September 26). We ask for your patience. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Guest
are these linseeds ground or unground?
Dear guest
Thank you for your comment and your interest in our product.
These organic linseeds are whole, unground linseeds. However, we also have ground linseed in our range: Art. 1042.153, organic ground linseed 300g.
