I would be interested to know whether the tea bags of the organic teas are compostable. Can Migros make an official statement on this?
Hello RudiG, thank you for your patience. The filter material used for the product mentioned above is basically compostable. BUT, a non-compostable sealing material is currently still used to seal the tea bags. Although it only makes up a fraction of the tea bag, it should not go into the compost. We are working hard on a replacement so that we can switch to a purely natural and compostable sealing material and the entire tea bag can go into the compost. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
