I was shocked to discover that it is dangerous to bees! Can I return the product with the shopping list from the app?

Hello Lepakko. The active ingredients of the Migros Bio Garden spray against pests are rapeseed oil and pyrethrins. The product is also approved for organic farming by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FibL) and is included on its list of inputs. This approval for organic farming and the classification of the FOAG (Federal Office for Agriculture) as "hazardous to bees" can be somewhat confusing. The fact is that organic active substances, such as the two mentioned, can also be classified as hazardous to bees. What does this classification mean? This warning means that direct spraying on bees is dangerous. The important thing with insecticides with this warning is that they are applied correctly, i.e. outside the bee flight and therefore without spraying the bees directly. On days with cool temperatures and early in the morning or late in the evening, there is generally less bee flight. If applied correctly, there is also no danger to bees. Only a few insecticides are not classified as "hazardous to bees", such as Migros Bio Garden Spray against aphids (6585.030). As with all plant protection products, this product must be used exactly according to the instructions on the product. Your Do it + Garden store where you bought the spray will be happy to inform you about the return or exchange options. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
