Why are Alnature's spelt flakes suddenly no longer available? I'm getting fed up with the fact that you are simply removing products and replacing them with sugar-containing mixtures!
Hello BladeXentor We are sorry that we have discontinued a valuable product for you in the form of Alnatura spelt flakes. In this case, we ultimately had to make the decision to remove it from our range due to low demand over a long period of time. We are also disappointed when an item does not meet the high demand we had hoped for from our customers. However, we ask for your understanding that we have to react if an item is less and less in demand. Of course, we want to continue to offer you and our customers healthy and balanced products. We therefore hope that you will find a suitable alternative with us. Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Dear Dinkelpops, our family is also a huge fan of yours, BUT where have you gone? For a few weeks now, we have unfortunately only been able to find wheat pops and oat nuts. We don't want to increase the high wheat consumption in our family. The spelt pops were our perfect alternative!
Hello schneehuegel
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are delighted that you like the spelt pops so much.
Unfortunately, our organic spelt pops are currently not available due to the poor spelt harvest. We also regret this.
We only have the organic wheat pops in our range as a temporary replacement. These are comparable to the spelt pops in terms of taste and appearance. As soon as the spelt pops are available again, we will replace the wheat pops.
We hope this helps you and wish you an enjoyable rest of the week. Your M-Infoline Team
@schneehuegel: Sweetened organic spelt pops are also available from "Alnatura" and in the Coop "Naturaplan". You can find unsweetened organic spelt pops in some "Werz" health food stores and in Spar branches of "fitleibundgut". Kind regards, "Twilight"

40g sugar per 100g total weight? What does the buyer of this product have in mind? Getting fat is OK, but only on the basis of organically grown ingredients? Absurd...
If it is not technically possible to produce spelt pops with less sugar, shouldn't they be taken out of the range?
Hello guest
Thank you for your feedback on the organic spelt pops. We apologize for the long wait.
Sugar is an important flavor carrier and also very important for the production and consistency of the product. Replacing or reducing it is a challenge that Migros is taking on. We are constantly working to improve and optimize the recipes of our own-brand products in terms of nutritional physiology. Such efforts are also underway for muesli and flakes. However, this will also take time and development work.
The organic spelt pops product is very popular with many consumers. However, it is not so easy to replace sugar in this product, otherwise the pops will soften immediately in the milk.
For our customers who prefer breakfast cereals without added sugar, we already have various products in our range.
We can recommend the following products:
- 1042.056 Reddy Birchermüesli Fit, without added sugar
- 1042.061 Organic Reddy Birchermüesli Nature without raisins, no added sugar
- 1042.177 Farmer Croc Nature, no added sugar
- 1042.232 Farmer Croc kernels & nuts, no added sugar, sweetened with steviol glycosides
- 1042.114 Organic oat nuts
- 1042.022 M-Classic oat flakes fine
- 1042.024 Organic oat flakes fine
- 1042.052 Organic millet flakes
- 1042.047 Organic soy flakes
- 1042.048 Organic 5-grain flakes
- 1042.057 Organic Kollath breakfast
We also offer muesli mixes with very little added sugar:
- 1042.208 M-Budget Müesli (low sugar from the corn flakes)
- 1042.060 Reddy Birchermüesli Gourmet
Sugar is not "forbidden" as part of a healthy diet. However, moderate consumption is recommended: A maximum of 10% of the energy consumed per day should come from sugar, which is roughly equivalent to 50 grams. However, a healthy diet is not just down to individual products, but depends on your lifestyle as a whole.
We hope you understand our answer and hope you enjoy trying out our breakfast cereals.

Dear all, the spelt pops would be soo good and an alternative to wheat, but much too sweet. Is the wheat glycose syrup necessary? As I have an allergic reaction to wheat, I can't have these cinnamon pops either, what a shame! Kind regards, guest
Dear migroanerin
Thank you for your request.
We try to reduce the amount of sugar wherever possible. However, sugar cannot be completely omitted from all products. In the case of the product you mentioned, sugar is needed both for the flavor and to achieve the desired consistency. The crispiness of the organic spelt pops cannot be achieved without the addition of sugar.
We regret that you cannot enjoy the product and hope that you will find an alternative that you like.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team
This answer is simply nonsense. Such products can indeed be made without sugar. Just go to Germany, where you can get all such products without sugar.
It's absolutely unnecessary.

I am a regular Migros shopper and have been enjoying the organic spelt pops from Migros for a long time. Unfortunately, there has been a marked deterioration in quality over the past few months (around fall 2012):
1. it started with inedible leftover meal (husks).
2. the pops have also become gummier and no longer crunchy.
Too bad, it was actually a good product. But as is so often the case, Migros manages to start well and then (slowly or abruptly) lower the quality at some point. There was probably a cheaper supplier...
Dear guest
Thank you very much for your feedback. It's a shame that you no longer like our spelt pops.
The recipe for our organic spelt pops is unchanged and we continue to source the product from the same supplier. Following your request, we contacted him and received the following response:
Spelt is a natural component of spelt. The spelt is de-hulled by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, it cannot be guaranteed that the husks are 100% removed. On the puffing lines, however, most of the remaining husks break and are sorted out as "dust".
When tasting the last production samples, we found the quality to be normal. The crispness was good and the product was not "rubbery". The moisture - a parameter for crispiness - was always within the normal range in the last productions.
We hope you find an alternative that suits your taste and wish you a pleasant rest of the week.
Sunny greetings

Delicious, but unfortunately sweetened. I prefer the oat pops.
