6 questions

Hello Migros, what exactly do the cows that produce the milk for this butter eat?

Hello shmuck, the Bud guidelines stipulate that all organic farmers must feed their cows exclusively with organic feed. All of the feed comes from Switzerland. In addition, ruminants on a Bud farm must be fed at least 95% roughage such as grass, hay and silage. The remaining 5% is concentrated feed (grain meal) and mineral salts. Dear Migros Please also offer organic butter in 250g trays, thank you very much!

Hello Champagnertruffes, thank you for the message. There are currently no plans to introduce 250 g trays. However, we were very happy to take your suggestion to the specialist department. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I've always wondered why it still needs aluminum foil under the plastic lid. But why it has also had a paper cover under the aluminum foil for some time now is completely incomprehensible to me. Does anyone know the answer?

Dear tim.springer
Thank you for your interest.
The aluminum paper is welded onto the tubs and acts as a first-opening guarantee and light protection.
All types of butter are filled into the tubs at a temperature between 12° and 15°. The butter is then in a viscous state. To give the organic butter a flat appearance in the tub, we need the second insert sheet.
In the past, we did not have a first opening guarantee on this product. The paper was only used to flatten the butter and to protect it from light.

We hope this helps you and wish you a good week. Your M-Infoline Team

I agree in part. I think the packaging is good. Trays keep the butter fresh for longer. 200g is too big. Coop offers organic butter in 100g trays. I think that's better.
With a little care, the lid and aluminum foil are easy to use.

Hello Strand9000

I can also confirm the problems.

I would also find a slightly flatter bowl shape more practical. A 100g bowl would also be more practical for me.

Dear Bahar
We have recognized the problem and will discuss possible solutions with our supplier. At present, however, no other packaging is possible for production reasons.
The demand for organic butter in a 100g tray is currently too low to introduce such packaging. However, we will be happy to take your suggestion on board and review it again when the range is next revised.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

The answer with the demand for 100 g cannot be true if Coop has always offered 100 g!

Good day

We only buy the organic butter dish from you because it is an ingenious product. It tastes great!
However, there is one big annoyance: the packaging can no longer be resealed, so the butter quickly turns yellow and rancid. Please consider doing something with the packaging! Thank you very much

Guest

I also only buy organic butter. My wish is that there would also be 50g or at least 100g packs. Otherwise it will go rancid because we don't eat butter every day.
Thank you! L.F.

A good three months ago, I complained to Migros about the packaging, which could not be resealed tightly, and also took the tray to the customer service department at Limmatplatz. The answer was that the tray had not been opened properly. So, I was labeled an idiot. I then bought the organic butter from the Coop (although not as close as Migros), which is just as good as Migros organic butter and doesn't go rancid because it stays nicely sealed in its dish.
The day before yesterday I bought Migros organic butter again and noticed that the shell is even softer and has to be closed tightly with a rubber band. Presumably the Chinese have eliminated the melamine from the bowl material, which has a certain hardness.

Thank you for your comment.
We have recognized this problem and implemented an improvement. The next production should be flawless again.
We hope you continue to enjoy our Migipedia site.

I have the same problem with the packaging. Why doesn't Migros use the same concept as the Valflora butter dish, for example?

Guest

When I bought the butter again last Saturday to see if Migros had managed it, I sometimes found THREE trays on the shelf (Migros Markt ZH Witikon) with a lid next to them. I bought one with the lid stuck on and when I got home I realized that Migros really had come up with an innovative idea and had to laugh!!! When I opened the lid I noticed that the aluminum foil does not completely cover the butter, in the corner the butter is "naked". It says on the aluminum foil that it should be put back on after using the butter. Isn't that a laugh? I therefore recommend Delica spread, which tastes almost as good as the organic butter and is only half the price. The packaging works perfectly.
This organic butter should be sent to Giacobbo Müller, they haven't produced anything except SVP for a long time.

I have the same problem and will now also try the competitor organic butter. It's really annoying.... Too bad Migros! That should be feasible. You promised an improvement 7 weeks ago. When will the new production with the improved packaging start?
