Why is buckwheat not allowed to be stirred when cooking?
Hi Michi2000, of course you can stir the buckwheat. It does not say that it is forbidden, but "Then leave to swell for approx. 15 minutes with the lid closed and on a low heat (without stirring)". However, as it is swelling and this is done with the lid closed and over a low heat, the buckwheat should not be stirred. This is a preparation recommendation. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Are the buckwheat seeds hulled and are they germinable? Thank you.
Hi MikeMike4, thanks for your post. Yes, the buckwheat is hulled. This can also be seen on our product page: https://www.migros.ch/en/product/104491000000 We have not yet tested whether the buckwheat germinates. We are therefore unable to answer this question conclusively. However, we assume that it should definitely work. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I tried it myself and sowed the seeds in the garden. The buckwheat seeds germinate well and grow quickly. To grow seedlings for direct consumption as MicroGreens, there may be a bit of breakage involved. But if you work hygienically, this should also work.
