Preparation?

Hello CremeMargerite, thank you for your question. The recipe is written on the outer packaging. You can also find the instructions under "Further information" in the product description. They are as follows: For 1 sachet (3 portions):

1.) Bring 3 dl of water with half a teaspoon of salt (2.5 g) and 15 g of fresh butter to the boil.

2) Add 2 dl cold milk and remove the pan from the heat immediately. Season with pepper and nutmeg to taste.

3) Pour the potato flakes into the pan and spread with a ladle so that all the flakes are well coated. After about 1 minute, stir gently (do not beat) until the mashed potatoes are nice and smooth and fluffy.

Hi. I would like to know if this product is gluten-free. Thank you

Hello, Is it possible to have the kcal for only the content of a 95g sachet please? The prepared data are not precise enough. I can't find a way to contact Mifloc directly. Guten Tag! ist es möglich, die kcal für nur den Inhalt eines 95g-Beutels zu bekommen, bitte? Die aufbereiteten Daten sind nicht genau genug.

Hello GaelRichard, unfortunately we only have the nutritional values for the prepared product. However, we would be happy to provide you with the nutritional values of comparable potato flakes per 100 g dry product: energy 1550 kJ (370 kcal), fat 0.5 g, carbohydrates 81 g, dietary fiber 5 g, protein 9 g, sodium 0.14 g. Oh ... I took the bags out of the packet and disposed of the carton. Now I realize that the recipe is no longer on the bag ... how much water do I need for 95g flakes?

Hello sacha81 Yes, yes, the habit... 1) Bring 3 dl water with half a teaspoon of salt (2.5g) and 15g fresh butter to the boil. 2) Add 2dl cold milk and immediately remove the pan from the heat. Season with pepper and nutmeg to taste. 3.) Pour the potato flakes into the pan and spread with a ladle so that the flakes are well coated. After about 1 minute, stir gently (do not beat) until the mashed potatoes are nice and smooth and fluffy. Use marjoram instead of nutmeg 😋 Best regardsFrederica

Thank you

Hi sacha81, we see that Frederica has already replied to you - thank you Frederica 😊 . Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Frederica, you saved my lunch. I also have the question: how much water? I just put the three 50 g bags in the kitchen cupboard and threw the box away with the waste paper. Now I want to cook and don't know how much water I should add for one bag. I'm sure it says that on the packet, which I no longer have. On the internet I can only find "with all ingredients - prepare with water only" and "3-4 minutes". But now I've been looking for more details for half an hour. The Internet only says "Do not beat" under preparation. Note: A little butter can be added for refinement. Ready to serve." Nothing ready to serve, I think. Under instructions for preparation it still says "Add hot water." Now I know. And because I'm probably the last person who didn't know that, the text under preparation in the product description will probably never be added. C'est la vie.

Hi, I'd just like to check. Does the amount of kcal in the 205g prepared version include the 2dc milk? Is the content of the sachet 91kcal if taken with water only?

Hi GaelRichard, the 91 kcal refers to mashed potatoes prepared with milk and butter. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thanks for the answer, it's great. But I think there's been a misunderstanding. 2dl of 1.5% milk makes about 98kcal. (https://shop.migros.ch/fr/direct/product/3122305) 15g of butter makes 111.2 kcal. (https://produits.migros.ch/le-beurre) I don't understand what measure to rely on for the contents of the packet alone. The display is misleading. It shows 4 packets of 95g. And it tells us the kcal for 95g. What's more, when the packet says that the ready meal is 205g and only 181kcal, when the butter and milk add up to almost the same total without the contents of the sachet, it's dubious. I'd just like to be sure of this information. I must confess that these low values made me buy this product rather than another. Is it possible that this information is wrong? Thank you in advance and if you have a contact with Mifloc perhaps make a request directly to them.

Hello GaelRichard, we have discussed this topic in detail with our competent service. The nutritional values of this article are as follows: - 95 g potato powder = 330 kcal - 300 g water = 0 kcal - 210 g milk (approx. 200 ml milk) = 98 kcal - 15 g butter = 111 kcal - 2 g salt = 0 kcal So 622 g and 530 kcal. Consequently, there are 87 kcal in 100 g of prepared mashed potatoes. 1 portion (205 g) corresponds to approximately 178 kcal. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Merci, au top!

Too bad the preparation information is only on the box.

Hello Manuela2426, We are sorry that you are no longer completely happy with the packaging. The preparation is indeed only written on the box. This gives us the opportunity to use the same bag for all Mifloc products. This reduces the complexity of production and the amount of material required. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why is the preparation no longer printed on the individual packs? It is very impractical that the preparation can only be found on the cardboard box!

Hello porridge cook, The preparation is indeed only written on the box. The reason for this is that we have various Mifloc products in our range where the preparation and ingredients vary. If we only advertise the preparation method on the carton, it gives us the opportunity to use the same bags for different varieties of Mifloc mashed potato. This reduces the complexity of production and the amount of material required. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Then please write the preparation somewhere online.

Hello porridge cook, thank you for your suggestion. We are happy to pass this on. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does this also come in the same way as the instant mashed potatoes in the 3x 50g pack? That would be great for us singles.

Hello Pescholino83, thank you for your question. There are currently no plans to adapt the packaging. The demand for it is still too low at the moment. The bags also have a long shelf life when used individually. The relevant specialist department is aware of your request and is keeping an eye on it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I have been using Mifloc for years. Suddenly it doesn't taste good at all, the whole family doesn't like it any more. I have tried 2 packs, unfortunately with no positive results. Something has been changed. In any case, we don't like it at all any more. Too bad.......

Hello PetraWAG, thank you for your message. The responsible specialist department has informed us that the recipe is unchanged. However, the potatoes have a major influence on the taste. Last year, it was difficult for producers to achieve the required quality. Of course, we always try to achieve and guarantee consistent and high quality. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
