Dear Migros
There is now a trace of gluten on the sausage meat balls. Is this temporary or do I have to look for an alternative product? I am very disappointed. Migros wanted to expand its allergen-free range. Instead, I keep finding that I can no longer eat things that were previously gluten-free. As a coeliac sufferer, this is very frustrating.
Hello GF-Girl2000, thank you for your inquiry. We can't find any changes in our system and the packaging we checked didn't show any traces either. Can you send us product photos (front and back) and let us know in which store you noticed this? Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Dear Migros
Thank you for the quick response.
In the large Migros in Zugerland (Steinhausen), smaller Migros in Tschannhof (Buchrain) and large Migros in the Mall of Switzerland (Ebikon). It was the same everywhere.
Hello GF-Girl2000, Unfortunately, we currently have different producers for Brätkügeli depending on the region. Depending on the region, Brätkügeli are offered with or without trace information. If trace information is provided, this means that despite all safety and cleaning measures, the manufacturer cannot guarantee that minor unintentional contamination may not occur. We are currently investigating whether it would be possible to source meatballs from the same producer throughout Switzerland, if possible without any contamination. The outcome is still unclear at this stage.
Best regards, your M-Infoline team
