Regarding the silicone coating - all Migros baking papers are coated very thinly with silicone so that they can fulfill their function. An uncoated paper would soak up fats and oils and transfer them through the paper onto the baking tray, so the effect would be roughly the same as if the baked goods were placed on the tray without any baking paper at all.

Has anything been changed in the product? It used to be great. Now the packaging is much longer than the product, the food sticks to it and it quickly turns black in the oven (does not withstand high temperatures), so it should not be sold as baking paper.

If the uncoated side is used as the contact side with the food, the food sticks to the baking paper.
