Hello Emalu, thank you for your inquiry. Given your description, we understand why you miss the plastic lid. For the sake of the environment, we decided to remove it. The current aluminum version is recyclable. The PET lid, on the other hand, had to be disposed of in the household waste. However, we share your opinion that you don't always have the desire or opportunity to enjoy the entire amount at once. We took this aspect into consideration and developed this silicone lid, which is suitable for both round and square shapes. We hope you are completely convinced by our solution. I have already tried this lid. Unfortunately, it only works with small diameters like 180 g yoghurt
