The new packaging of the LF lean quark is a deterioration. The aluminum foil is so thin that it tears when I open it. Afterwards I can no longer close the cup, and of course the round plastic lids from Coop no longer fit either. I hardly ever eat 250g at a time, now I have to put the open tub back in the fridge :( I will only buy the LF quark from Coop in future.
Hello Susi_T, thank you for your feedback. With regard to the lid, we made a change as the current market is moving towards packaging reduction and reusable lids. The aluminum lid is recyclable. The PET lid, on the other hand, had to be disposed of in household waste. For some time now, we have been offering the silicone lid, which can be used flexibly - even for the square cup. Whether sugar (or another sweetening food) has been added can be seen from the list of ingredients. In the case of "Aha! I also place a piece of aluminum foil over the aluminum lid and clamp it under the rim. This keeps the cup well sealed and the quark stays fresh for longer.
