The cake actually tastes quite good, for me personally a little too sweet and too much powdered sugar, hence the point deduction. For me, this cake is more of an Easter cake. The 2-hour defrosting time is also impractical, as you have to plan very far in advance if you want to serve it. The packaging is great for storing the rest of the cake.

I actually wanted to buy a strawberry Vacherin ice cream cake for Christmas in addition to my homemade dessert. Everyone always loves it! I was very disappointed that they are no longer available, and also the nougat ice cream cake. Can't understand that! I then bought the Nonna cake as a replacement. Unfortunately! It would be good at Easter, it's like an Easter cake. No substitute for the ice cream cake. What a pity!
