Hello mthmonney, thank you for your question. To indicate how long a product can be kept, we print the minimum durability date on each product. If you consume the product after this date, you do so at your own risk. Nevertheless, you can assess whether a product can still be consumed by relying on your common sense. Appearance: check for signs of mould or discoloration. Odor: an unpleasant smell indicates that the product is no longer fit for consumption. Hello Have the Wienerli always contained beef? I noticed today that the animal symbols pork and beef are new on the packaging and somehow they taste different to what I'm used to.

Hello We have noticed that the Wienerli have recently started to have a more pronounced smoky aroma. They still taste very good to us, but they used to be better. Has something been changed in the recipe?

We also need the lot number for further clarification with the relevant supplier. We are sorry that the taste of the promotional Wienerli differed from that of the conventional M-Classic Wienerli. We have in fact commissioned a new supplier to produce these Wienerli, but using the same recipe as the previous ones. For the time being, therefore, there are no plans to produce the M-Classic Wienerli in this way again and you will receive the M-Classic Wienerli in the usual way. your M-Infoline Team

I think it says on the packaging of your Wienerli that they should be heated. Is it safe to eat them without heating them?

Hello Michael, thank you for your inquiry. Wienerli belong to the smoked sausage category. This means that they have been smoked and are already cooked - so you can eat the Wienerli raw. Hello, I've noticed that more and more products are getting more expensive, like the M Classic Cervelat from 1.95 to 2.20 SFr. not so long ago. And now the M Classic Wienerli from 2.85 to 3.10 SFr... I haven't noticed any great change in the price of raw meat. Always a promotion first and then the price goes up.

As you have correctly noted, we have had to make an increase in the sausage products, which affects Wienerli and Cervelats. The explanation for this is as follows:
Pork is becoming more expensive:
Prices for Swiss pork have been rising continuously since the beginning of 2013.
In January, the price per kilo was still CHF 4.50/kg, but it is currently CHF 5.25/kg
The reason for this is an imbalance between supply and demand that becomes noticeable with a time lag.
This periodic fluctuation is known in the trade as the "pig cycle" and is now also having an impact on Migros' sales prices. Raw sausages, salami and cooked sausages had to be marked up in the sales price.
Migros only passes on unavoidable price increases and is committed to low consumer prices.

At Migros, M-Classic products stand for the best price/performance ratio, and M-Classic Wienerli is no exception. We use conventional Swiss beef and pork for this.
Our range also includes Terra Suisse Wienerli and Bio Wienerli. These cattle or pigs are free range.

WHAT! I have to buy a kilo of sausages to get a little MiniMania? Don't you think that's excessive? One pack is fine, a double pack too, but five packs? Where are we going with this? I don't think it's right.

The 1kg Wienerli promotion is a standard Migros promotion in the fall months. We are aware that the pack size is intended more for large households and is not an adequate quantity for individuals. In our opinion, the target group for the Minis is mainly households with children. We have therefore decided to attach the Minis to our inexpensive large pack. We realize that this is not right for all customers.
Nevertheless, we hope for your understanding and wish you lots of collecting fun.

I've been looking for the Wienerli minis in various stores since Monday, but unfortunately I haven't found any yet. Does anyone have any idea where exactly the minis are? The information is somehow confusing... First it said 5-pack Wienerli on the Minimania website, then M-Classic Wienerli. If you click on the Mini, you come to this page, where it says M-Classic, but Terra Suisse is pictured - and further down a guest writes that he bought a 12-pack. How do I get the Wienerli minis now? My impression is that all the other previous limited edition minis were easier to get.

So the day before yesterday I bought a special offer 5-pack of Wienerli in our Migros in Birr-Lupfig and it also contained the MiniWienerli.
