Do the Wienerli contain gluten? I assumed that this should be stated on the packaging. Unfortunately, the pork sausages don't say anything either, but on Migros Online it says that they contain gluten :(
Hello Regulaalaa
The M-Classic Wienerli do not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any carry-over (traces) be expected. Important: If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, oats, etc.). Ingredients containing gluten must not be "hidden"!
Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Allergenic ingredients must be highlighted in the list of ingredients, for example in bold print or with capital letters (examples: wheat starch, WHEAT flour).
Unfortunately, an error has crept into the M-Classic pork sausages online. These do not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, nor should any carry-over (traces) be expected. The allergen information is incorrect. We have already arranged for this to be corrected.
Kind regards, your M-Infoline team

How many days after the best-before date can you eat Vienna sausages?
Hello mthmonney, thank you for your question. To indicate how long a product can be kept, we print the minimum durability date on each product. If you consume the product after this date, you do so at your own risk. Nevertheless, you can assess whether a product can still be consumed by relying on your common sense. Appearance: check for signs of mould or discoloration. Odor: an unpleasant smell indicates that the product is no longer fit for consumption. Texture: if products have a viscous or sticky texture, they should no longer be eaten. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for your message. I'm not going to eat them.

...if the sausages still taste good 2-3 weeks after their expiration date, there's no reason to throw them away. Just ate some Vienna sausages that were 3 weeks past their expiration date and I'm still alive and kicking.

Why is the skin always so thick?!? It didn't used to be like this?!?
Hello euliseuli, thank you for the question. There has been no adjustment to the recipe. We have not received any similar feedback so far. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why does 1 pair of Wienerli in the Claramarkt in Basl cost CHF. 2.20 and why there are no double packages with 2 pairs
Hello Have the Wienerli always contained beef? I noticed today that the animal symbols pork and beef are new on the packaging and somehow they taste different to what I'm used to.
Hello bea7, thank you for your inquiry. We have not made any adjustments to the recipe. Beef is also a component of the product. In order to make further clarifications for you, we need the batch or lot number (starting with L) and the place of purchase. We look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello We have noticed that the Wienerli have recently started to have a more pronounced smoky aroma. They still taste very good to us, but they used to be better. Has something been changed in the recipe?
Hello brunoflexa, thank you for your inquiry. We will be happy to follow up on your tip. Please let us know in which store you purchased the M-Classic Wienerli. We also need the lot number for further clarification with the relevant supplier. This number is generally next to the best-before date and usually begins with the letter L or a mixture of letters and numbers. We look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear M-Infoline Team, the Wienerli were purchased at Migros Regensdorf and have the following lot number: L:0008043917
We are sorry that the taste of the promotional Wienerli differed from that of the conventional M-Classic Wienerli. We have in fact commissioned a new supplier to produce these Wienerli, but using the same recipe as the previous ones. For the time being, therefore, there are no plans to produce the M-Classic Wienerli in this way again and you will receive the M-Classic Wienerli in the usual way. your M-Infoline Team

Thank you for the answer, I have already bought new Wienerli and they taste just as good as before!

I think it says on the packaging of your Wienerli that they should be heated. Is it safe to eat them without heating them?
Hello Michael, thank you for your inquiry. Wienerli belong to the smoked sausage category. This means that they have been smoked and are already cooked - so you can eat the Wienerli raw. A little tip: the sausages taste particularly good when they have been briefly heated in hot water. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I've noticed that more and more products are getting more expensive, like the M Classic Cervelat from 1.95 to 2.20 SFr. not so long ago. And now the M Classic Wienerli from 2.85 to 3.10 SFr... I haven't noticed any great change in the price of raw meat. Always a promotion first and then the price goes up.
Hello huwatschli
Thank you for taking the time to write to us.
As you have correctly noted, we have had to make an increase in the sausage products, which affects Wienerli and Cervelats. The explanation for this is as follows:
Pork is becoming more expensive:
Prices for Swiss pork have been rising continuously since the beginning of 2013.
In January, the price per kilo was still CHF 4.50/kg, but it is currently CHF 5.25/kg
The reason for this is an imbalance between supply and demand that becomes noticeable with a time lag.
This periodic fluctuation is known in the trade as the "pig cycle" and is now also having an impact on Migros' sales prices. Raw sausages, salami and cooked sausages had to be marked up in the sales price.
Migros only passes on unavoidable price increases and is committed to low consumer prices.
We hope that you have not lost confidence in your Migros and wish you a nice sunny day.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Hello, is the meat used from conventional farming or from species-appropriate free-range farming?
Hi guest
Thank you for your inquiry - we are very pleased about your interest.
At Migros, M-Classic products stand for the best price/performance ratio, and M-Classic Wienerli is no exception. We use conventional Swiss beef and pork for this.
Our range also includes Terra Suisse Wienerli and Bio Wienerli. These cattle or pigs are free range.
We hope this will help you and look forward to your next visit.

WHAT! I have to buy a kilo of sausages to get a little MiniMania? Don't you think that's excessive? One pack is fine, a double pack too, but five packs? Where are we going with this? I don't think it's right.
Hello Albisser
Thank you very much for your comment. I apologize for the delay in replying.
The 1kg Wienerli promotion is a standard Migros promotion in the fall months. We are aware that the pack size is intended more for large households and is not an adequate quantity for individuals. In our opinion, the target group for the Minis is mainly households with children. We have therefore decided to attach the Minis to our inexpensive large pack. We realize that this is not right for all customers.
Nevertheless, we hope for your understanding and wish you lots of collecting fun.
