The Italian colors on the front and production in Italy suggest tomatoes from Italy. This is not the case (because if it were, there would be a corresponding note, as with similar Migros products). The tomatoes probably come from China.

Good product and fortunately not made with Chinese tomatoes... I wrote that 6 years ago and it's still true. But what doesn't fit at all: Sometimes tubes leak. Just like that, unopened and from the back seam. If you don't notice this immediately in the store cupboard, it makes a huge mess because the dark brown, sticky and viscous juice can hardly be removed from unpainted wooden surfaces. It is essential to store these tubes in a plastic container. It is best to place them with the fold facing downwards. However, I wonder whether a leaking tube would still be edible. You always throw away something that hasn't even expired yet.
