Why is M classic tartar sauce only available in the large tube? It also doesn't taste as good as it used to.
Hello Planki, thank you for your message. We also had the smaller tube of tartar in our range until mid-2020, but we took it out of the range. In fact, there was also a change of supplier. However, the new one took over the previous recipe. Nevertheless, there may be minimal deviations. In the small tube, for example, we still stock the Thomy Tartare Sauce https://migipedia.migros.ch/en/106605300000 or the Thomy Tartare Mini https://migipedia.migros.ch/en/106656500000. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you for your reply. We don't like the Thomy tartare sauce. It's just a shame that there is only one large tube of M classic tartare left. We regularly throw away the rest. You can really taste the change of supplier. You can also taste it in the mayonnaise from M classic. Both have somehow become greasier.

Thanks for the information. I won't buy it, it's far too greasy for me and has very poor nutritional values.

And why couldn't the crunchy, slightly sour appearance be retained? Now it tastes just as dull and stale as the rest of the industrial tartar sauces. Even the noticeable bits of gherkin/cornichon that had a positive effect on the consistency have disappeared! Unfortunately, for me, another M product less....
Hello hkp, we are sorry that you no longer like this product. ELSA has bought a production factory in Alsace and now produces all the sauces for Migros there. That is why the place of origin is France. We have replaced article 1066.160 with article 1066.161. However, the recipe is unchanged, only the size of the packaging has changed. However, you are welcome to provide us with the LOT number and the best-before date so that we can check your request in more detail. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Since when does the tartare in the tube come from France? Wasn't it still from Switzerland in the "old" design? Unfortunately, the acidity and bite resistance have also decreased..........
↵Good morning hkp↵↵Elsa, which belongs to M-Industry, acquired a majority stake in the cold sauce and spice manufacturer Idhéa in Hochfeldern, Alsace, on September 27, 2016. Therefore production France 🇫🇷 ↵↵Best regards↵ Frederica
