2 questions

I found a big eye in the box (I hope octopus?). Is it possible to at least get a refund?

Hello Poyo, please let us know the batch number on the packaging and the best-before date. The lot or batch number is usually found next to the product's best-before date, and usually begins with the letter L. It can also be made up of a succession of letters and numbers. This enables us to investigate your complaint. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why does "octopus" appear if it is actually squid?

Good morning RMRMRM, thank you for your question. The name squid defines the class of mollusks to which squid, cuttlefish, and octopus also belong. The ingredient list states the exact species of squid (giant squid). The statement is therefore correct. Best regards, Your M-Infoline Team

Thank you for your reply, but: 1. The class is cephalopods, so it is incorrect to call octopus "squid". 2. You are selling squid for octopus, which is at the very least deceptive, if not definable as fraud. 3. It could be dangerous in case of specific allergies

Hi RMRMRM, thank you for your message. We have checked and found that, in fact, the designation "octopus" is not quite correct. The term "octopus" should in fact be used for so-called octopus species. In this case, the designation "giant squid" would be most correct. We will be sure to adapt the text of the package when we make the next change. Thank you again for your report. Best regards, Your M-Infoline Team

Thank you for considering my request, confirming the seriousness and professionalism of Migros.Regards.
