Thank you for your answer. May I ask you to clarify? "Leghenne" says nothing about the type of husbandry. Do the animals live (at least partly) in indoor battery hens? Do they come from BTS farms? Without a declaration, I frankly suspect the worst. In all other cases, you usually label the products with big "free-range", "organic" etc. labels. I would like to ask you to disclose to me the husbandry condition(s) (I assume that the hens are bought together from a wide variety of farms).
Hello aslanfriend Thank you for your recent enquiry. Please accept our apologies for our late reply. It has been illegal to keep chickens in battery hens in Switzerland since 1981. All of the eggs and chicken meat that we offer from Switzerland come from hens that are kept in compliance with the legally prescribed husbandry conditions in Switzerland - even if we do not specifically declare this. Compliance with these regulations is also checked by the state. We hope that we have been able to help you with our statement and look forward to welcoming you again. Your M-Infoline team

I am interested to know what kind of animal husbandry these deep-frozen soup chickens come from. The packaging only tells me that it is a product from Switzerland. Specifically, I want to know: a) do the animals come from battery hens? b) are the chickens fed with antibiotic-treated poultry feed? c) if the chickens come from different forms of animal husbandry, I would like to know whether there is even a remote possibility that a) and b) could apply to the individual product
Hello aslanfriend Thank you for your inquiry. The soup hens are laying hens from Switzerland and are fed and kept in accordance with Swiss law. Animal feed laced with antibiotics is not used. Antibiotics may only be prescribed and administered by a vet. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us! Best regards, your M-Infoline team
