First of all, we would like to inform you about an organizational aspect of Migros that many customers are not aware of: Migros does not consist of a head office and a network of branches that report to it and are all assigned the same product range. Instead, the 10 regional cooperatives are largely autonomous, and the Federation of Migros Cooperatives merely acts as a service and coordination center, e.g. for central purchasing. For example, certain products, especially everyday necessities, are stocked by the individual cooperatives on an optional basis. In addition, the individual cooperatives purchase products - especially fruit, vegetables, meat and dairy products - regionally autonomously, which they sell in their own branch network. The product range must be adapted to the size of the individual branches. Unfortunately, it is not possible to present the full range in all stores, and demand for Salciccia Iberica has declined. For this reason, we have decided to discontinue the seasonal range. We are aware that with such decisions we are disappointing customers who would have liked to consume the product. Space is limited. It is therefore our duty to constantly review the selection and its appeal and adjust it if necessary. To this end, we have added "Lughanighetta Gran Riserva", a great seasonal Ticino speciality, to our range.
