1 question
MAX HAVELAAR artichoke hearts are now available, only because of the Fairtrade label and because of my liver problems I reached for the tin for the first time. I like the Max Havelaar artichoke hearts, even if they are not comparable to fresh artichokes. Unfortunately they are not organic and come from Peru (flown in?), but at least they are fair. However, I only like the hearts if I rinse them with water first - this removes the "sour taste" mentioned by GsatiFan - and then dab or squeeze out the liquid well on kitchen paper. I will probably try a few more ways of preparing them (perhaps with tomato sauce, sautéed, refined with herbs...) and: I hope they do my sick liver some good. Oh yes, dear M-Infoline, please list the new fairtrade artichokes on Migipedia :-). Thank you and best regards from Twilight
Hello Twilight
Thank you for your valuable message. Due to a technical fault, we were unfortunately only able to process your request now - we apologize for the inconvenience.
Environmental friendliness is also very important to us. Although the canned goods come from Peru, they are brought to us by sea, i.e. by ship.
We will list the fairtrade artichokes on Migipedia as soon as possible.
We wish you an enjoyable rest of the week, from the M-Infoline team
