What does the * in the country of origin mean? Made in Switzerland, can also be made with foreign barley, so where does it come from?

Hello Bluechristal, thank you for your inquiry. You are correct in your assumption. "Made in Switzerland" means that the rolled barley is processed here. We originally source the raw materials from France or Germany. As soon as a product is processed in such a way that a new product name is created, the country of manufacture must be specified. In this case it is Switzerland. We hope this information is helpful for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thank you for the information, for me as a consumer the origin is also of great interest, I also complain about the MBudget products, where the country of origin is usually missing! I want regional and seasonal, and there isn't even an alternative for rolled barley online. What a pity.

Hello Bluechristal, thank you for your reply. We understand why origin is an important purchase criterion for you. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer you a domestic alternative for rolled barley. Of course, we are continuing to pursue the issue. Should a possibility arise, we are prepared to look into it. As far as the M-Budget line is concerned, you can contact us with the exact article numbers here or via the contact form if you are unsure. We will be happy to provide the necessary clarity. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello aebbet, thank you for your inquiry. As rolled barley is a natural product, target values are difficult to determine. These are subject to quite strong fluctuations. From an analytical point of view, it does not make sense to measure strongly fluctuating parameters with a target limit. For this reason, we have set a maximum limit value for rolled barley, which must not be exceeded. The limit value for moisture is 13 %. A higher moisture content could limit the shelf life of the product. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
