Why did you change from a plastic lid to an aluminum lid? The new one is a little less practical. Does the change have an ecological background?
Hello RalphStraessle, thank you for your inquiry. Your assumption is correct: for the sake of the environment, we decided to remove the plastic lid. The current aluminum version is recyclable. The PET version, on the other hand, had to be disposed of in the household waste. Because you don't always have the desire or the opportunity to consume the entire amount of product at once, we developed this silicone lid, which is also suitable for square shapes. @M-Infoline: I'm also annoyed by the aluminum lid, and I think this silicone lid option is counterproductive. Hardly anyone knows about this option and/or is prepared to pay for it (it costs more than the cream cheese itself). Many people will probably try to seal the bucket with the aluminum lid as well as possible, only to find out a few days later that it didn't work very well. It is possible that less plastic ends up in the household waste, but more aluminum and "contaminated" curd cheese instead

How does M-Classic Rahmqurk differ from M-Budget Rahmquark? Are the ingredients always from Switzerland?

For at least a month now, the quark has been far too runny and not as tasty as it used to be. What have you changed? I like to eat this quark for breakfast and now have to look for an alternative. What a shame!

Some technical parameters have been changed in this product, making the quark appear creamier and less firm. However, the dry matter has remained unchanged.
The internal tasting also showed no noticeable changes to the product.
