For allergy reasons, could you please tell me the exact quantity of egg?
It's a shame that there are still products with barn eggs these days. Wouldn't it be good to change something here? I loved these wheels as a child and I hope I can buy them again one day with a clear conscience.
Hello UrdinkelFasan, thank you very much for your feedback. These biscuits are produced by our own industry. Delica AG only uses eggs from animal-friendly husbandry for production. In addition to the legal requirements, Migros has introduced the winter garden (covered, weather-protected fresh air area) as standard for barn rearing. From our point of view, too, it would certainly be desirable to process only free-range eggs. However, in view of the current shortage of eggs (in Switzerland and Europe), it is unfortunately not possible to switch. Is the E 503 in this product actually made from horn, hooves, claws, leather, etc.?
Hello Ivan 92 Thank you for your inquiry. E 503 (ammonium carbonate, a leavening agent and acidity regulator) was originally obtained from grated "stag horn". This is where the name comes from.
