Dear Migros peas and carrots - a real classic! But how do the carrots become so cute and small? Kind regards Kathrin
Hello kathrin28, thank you very much for your post. The small round Parisian carrot is a rare type of carrot that is only known today in the canning industry. These small, round carrots are still grown in Switzerland - and have been since around the end of the First World War. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

It says on the can: "Do not store in the can after opening." For what reason? Kind regards Bepi
Good morning @Bepi3I suspect: "that it is an uncoated tinplate can that is tinned on the inside." When such a can is opened, the metallic inner surface comes into contact with oxygen from the air, which quickly leads to corrosion and a transfer of tin into the food. Opened cans without a coating should therefore be emptied immediately. Many food cans are coated on the inside with a varnish - a white or yellowish layer of plastic. The contents of these cans can be stored in the fridge for a short time after opening. Best regards Frederica
Hello Bepi3, thank you for your question. When the can is opened, oxygen penetrates. This may cause the can to oxidize and stain the contents. Although this is not harmful, we recommend filling the leftovers into an oxygen-tight container. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
