In particular, the specific migration limit (SML) is limited to 0.05 mg/kg of food to ensure consumer safety. The canned goods supplied are BPA NIA inside.
Regarding heavy metals, the supplier confirms the following through our guideline and own declaration of conformity:
Heavy metals lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) and chromium VI (Cr VI) must not be part of packaging or formulations. Possible traces of heavy metals must be below the limit value of 100 ppm (mg/kg packaging material) in accordance with Directive 94/62 EC and amending Directive 2004/12/EC.
