Hello, are the potatoes in the bag raw or already cooked so I can eat them without cooking?
Hello Chiboulita, thank you very much for your question. The potatoes are not yet cooked. The product cannot be eaten raw. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team

Can this item be stored in the freezer? And if so, for how long?
This product can be safely stored in a dark, relatively cool place for at least 2 years without any loss of quality; storing this rösti in the freezer is nonsense.
Okay. Thank you for the quick reply
Hi Jad-1942, as the M-Classic Original Rösti is a long-life product, we have no experience of freezing it. It's best if you just give it a try 😊. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

What exactly is the meaning of sprinkled seasoning and what exactly does it contain? I may be allergic to certain ingredients, so it would be an advantage to list all the ingredients.
Hi Billie, the food legislation states: " Seasoning is a solid, mixable product made from table salt. To achieve better pourability, other ingredients such as yeast, vegetables, mushrooms and spices, as well as ingredients such as starch or fat, can be added to the seasoning. The exact recipe for the seasoning contained in the rösti is not disclosed. Please let us know which ingredients you cannot tolerate or to which you are allergic. We will then be happy to clarify whether these are contained in the product or in the seasoning. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Wow, they can hide quite a lot there. Unfortunately I missed it and thought it only contained salt. I guess it's not for me then. To list all my allergies and intolerances here would go beyond the scope of this article.

hello migros. is this product vegan or at least vegetarian?
Hello ernieknolfson The Original Rösti, 104480600000 is vegan according to the recipe, but it is not vegi-certified. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Has the composition or fat content been changed? No matter which pan I fry the rösti in, it "burns". This never used to be an issue, but for a few months now it has been "standard".
Hello AndreaMeier, thank you for your post. Nothing has been changed in the recipe for the original rösti. But potatoes are natural products, so there can be variations in quality. The roasting quality is solely due to the potatoes. If this happens again, we recommend adding a little more oil or frying butter. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

What kind of vegetable oil is this? Shouldn't this also be declared on Migipedia in accordance with the law? The term "vegetable oil" is no longer permitted since this year?
Hoi ivan92 This is an old packaging. We switched to rapeseed oil for the original Rösti some time ago. We apologize for the confusion. Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

Shouldn't this also be legally declared on Migipedia, where it only says vegetable oil?

Hello M-Infoline, palm oil is listed in the list of ingredients in German, but rapeseed oil is listed in French and Italian. I would also much prefer rapeseed oil to palm oil, even though I know that Migros uses sustainable palm oil.
Hoi e-p Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, there was indeed a translation error in the declaration. The product contains palm oil and the error will be corrected as soon as possible. However, we are currently checking whether an oil exchange should actually take place. We wish you a nice Whitsun weekend and see you soon in your Migros. Kind regards from your M-Infoline team

Good morning, after a long time (back then I still had the old packaging) I bought Rösti. Something has been changed in the recipe, they no longer taste the same :((( and palm oil of all things :o please add another oil to the product, there are plenty of options :))) Thank you
Hello polarsternchen We are delighted that you are interested in our products. Thank you for contacting us. Nothing has been changed in the recipe; palm oil was already being used before. Due to the new food regulations, this will now be declared accordingly. The responsible specialist department has informed us that other oil variants are already being tested. We ask for your patience and send you our best regards. Your M-Infoline team

Would it also be possible to make this product with rapeseed oil or butter? Palm oil is not exactly No. 1 in terms of sustainability... After all, there are local, inexpensive vegetable oils
Hello Seppentony Thank you for your interest and your commitment. We are already looking into various possible options. However, we are not yet able to tell you when we will be able to implement this. Thank you for shopping with us. See you soon, your M-Infoline team
