Does the vanilla extract in this product contain alcohol?

Hello Sh_g, thank you for your inquiry. Vanilla is generally extracted with ethanol. The vanilla extracts we use are all extracted with ethanol. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Has the recipe been changed? This rice pudding contains practically no rice.

Let's compare it with the classic from Germany from Müller, which has even less rice than the Migros version, declared with 9% rice!

Hello dani1984, thank you for your message. Did you take a photo of the item? Can you tell us the best-before date concerned? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello dani1984, thank you for the information. The clarifications took a little longer, for which we apologize. We have checked the corresponding retained samples, but could not find any deviations. The amount of rice can vary slightly from cup to cup. We suspect that there may be fluctuations in the rice content when changing tanks and when emptying the tanks. We are keeping an eye on this issue and will make adjustments if necessary. We will contact you by email. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why is everything getting so much more expensive? I mean, I love most products like El Tony Mate & Ginger, mojito soda and rice pudding. Everything is going to be 10 centimes more expensive. These products I mentioned are already expensive enough. I really don't understand why they've made it even more expensive now. You've always mentioned climate, delivery and employee wages. But you haven't shown any consideration for customers who perhaps don't have as much money as us Swiss or children who want to buy such products with their pocket money. I hope that the prices will soon shoot down significantly so that people can still afford them. Greetings J. Duvoisin.

Hello jurinick, thank you for your inquiry. We understand that these changes are causing disappointment. In many parts of the world, including Switzerland, prices for raw materials; packaging materials and energy are currently rising. The main reasons for this are a global shortage of certain raw materials and problems in the supply chains. Both factors are related to the effects and after-effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine. As a result, we can no longer bear the costs ourselves and are passing them on to our customers in the form of a price increase. Of course, we are constantly monitoring the market situation. If circumstances permit, we will make the necessary adjustments. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

That means when the war is over it will be cheaper? Greetings J. Duvoisin

The taste of this milk rice is really very good, but I wonder if the grain size should be no harder than my product. I bought a cup with the date 29.03.14/ 04.04.14. If the batch number is the one on the barcode, then it is: 7 610200 213976. It would be great if the rice wasn't so hard, then it would be perfect, but I won't be buying it again.

Thank you very much for your comment. We are pleased that you like the rice pudding.
We checked the retained samples and they were all flawless.
However, the rice grains become harder the longer they are stored. This means that the closer the expiration date approaches, the harder the grains become.
We hope that the next rice pudding will be a real treat again.
See you soon in your Migros.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

It would be great if this version were available in a larger size! The other varieties are also available in large, but not this one with vanilla. That would be so great. This Migros rice pudding is by far the best in both my private and business life!

Dear guest
Thank you for your interest. We are delighted that you like our rice pudding so much. We stock all our rice pudding in 200g tubs and are unable to offer larger portions at the moment.
However, we will be happy to check whether there is potential for a larger unit during the next product range analysis.
We wish you an enjoyable rest of the week, from the M-Infoline team

Perhaps this was an exception, but: I was quite disappointed with this rice pudding.
The sauce was too runny, and even though I opened the tab very carefully, the liquid promptly splashed onto my clothes

@Gingerbread: When I bought this rice pudding again about half a year ago, I unfortunately had a similar experience:
- I also found this dairy product far too sweet
- I also found the consistency of the rice, as oli_che mentioned, too hard/grainy, while the vanilla cream was also too thin. Overall, therefore, an 'inconsistent' texture of this dish, which is so delicious in itself.
As with the Heidi Bircher muesli, I would be happy with smaller portion sizes - 150-175g tubs.
I still really miss the purple-packed plum rice pudding.

Maripac, it's unfortunate that this was obviously not an isolated case.
I don't like such a thin sauce on rice pudding. I've already read that the consistency of the rice is too firm, but I haven't noticed it myself. It probably depends on how you define firm: it wasn't as firm as long grain rice (cooked) for me, but it was certainly firm to the bite.
When was the last time you had rice pudding with plums? And has it disappeared from the shelves for good? It sounds really tasty ...

@Gingerbread: I feel the same way...
To my great and lasting regret, the rice pudding with plums has not been available for a few years now. This is a shame, not least because this combination is not available elsewhere (at Coop or from "emmi"), but it was really superfine...

I can imagine that. If rice pudding with plums is as delicious as I think it is, I would probably prefer it to anything else. It's a shame that it's no longer available.
I've just tried the rice pudding with raspberries. There too: thin sauce, and the rice grains are certainly too firm for those whose palates are used to a soft rice pudding.

Hello everyone
Thank you very much for your comments.
We're sorry that you don't particularly like this rice pudding. It is always difficult for us to cater to all the different tastes.
However, our specialist department is aware of your feedback. If you would like us to check the batches more closely, we need a batch number.
We currently have no plans to include rice pudding with plums in our range. We hope for your understanding.
Kind regards
Your M-Infoline Team
