Do you have any other "Müffel" feedback on current D63xxx batches?
We regularly buy popcorn at MIGROS (and "identical" products from the competition). We recently bought two multipacks in MIGROS - one with batch number C..., the other with D63xxx. Not all of the popcorn in the latter pack, but quite a few of them smelled when we ate them.
Since we also bought a "D63xxx" batch from a competitor where the warm air even smelled (!) during preparation in the microwave (Bernese German: "nüechtele"), and because the individual bags of the D63xxx batches from both stores are exactly the same, but the "C" batch has a slightly different (undotted) bag, we suspect that the supplier / factory / production line for the "D63xxx" batches uses either moist or otherwise poorly stored corn.

The processing was carried out in accordance with the specified guidelines. In view of these results, we are unable to explain the cause of the aroma you describe. Are the popcorn bags free from PFAS (forever chemicals)?

Does Migros microwave popcorn contain the product diacetyl?

In Geneva, at Charmilles, Vibert and Plainpalais, which are the largest MMs, unsalted popcorn is not available. Nor is MM Lugano in Ticino. At a time when Migros is launching Génération M to reduce salt in food, you owe it to yourself to offer these items in every store. What's more, you could also offer only salt-free popcorn if there isn't enough room for 2 items: it's easy to add salt to unsalted popcorn, while it's impossible to remove salt from TOO salty popcorn...

Why is unsalted popcorn more expensive than salted popcorn?

The prices of microwave popcorn are calculated on the basis of the supplier's offer and are based on sales volume and market prices. We sell the salted microwave popcorn in all Migros stores and sell significantly more in terms of volume.

I couldn't find the product in two stores and was told on request that it had been removed from the range. I think that's an extreme shame, as it's extremely popular with our family!

Unfortunately, the unsalted microwave popcorn you are looking for is only available in large MMM and MM stores, such as Tivoli, Wohlen and Wettingen in the canton of Aargau. We hope that you will find the desired product there and recommend that you buy several packs "in stock" ;-)
