Today I was disappointed to discover that this salt with herbs has been removed from the range. We have tried various herb salt mixtures and this was the best and was used for many things in our house. The store couldn't give me a reason why this herb salt is no longer available.

The salt only gets bad reviews since the new packaging! When will we get a reasonably usable packaging again??????

I use this salt every day and am very happy with it. I just wonder whether the anti-caking agent is really necessary and what it actually is. Sodium ferrocyanide sounds like one of the many substances that researchers have only recently discovered have unexpected effects.

The additives currently approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO) are harmless to health. They are among the best-studied substances in our food and are only approved once strict toxicological tests have proven their harmlessness. This also applies to sodium ferrocyanide (E535) in sea salt. Unfortunately, sodium ferrocyanide cannot be dispensed with. In the course of salt production, it influences the properties of the salt crystals. By forming a shell around the crystals, the ferrocyanides improve their flowability and prevent clumping.
