The ingredients say egg yolk. Unfortunately, nowhere is it stated whether the egg is raw or pasteurized, which is very important for pregnant women.

Hello RS85, the mayonnaises available in Migros are not made with raw eggs. For hygienic reasons, liquid egg, a pasteurized egg mass, is used in the industrial production of foodstuffs. The M-Classic mayonnaise à la française can therefore also be consumed by pregnant women without hesitation. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Unfortunately, the new labels are an ecological absurdity: impossible to remove, the jar is no longer as easily reusable as before. Less plastic, but more waste, even recyclable waste... A false good idea.

Hello Fredimi, thank you for your message. We haven't forgotten you. Your request is still being examined by our specialist department. We'll be in touch as soon as we hear from them. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Fredimi, Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with us. This feedback is very important to us, as it enables us to understand and take into account our customers' perceptions in our thinking about our assortment.

We have taken the decision to switch to labeled jars in line with our commitment to sustainable development, which is part of Migros' DNA. By switching from "sleeved" jars (= plastic film wrapped around the jar) to paper labels, we are reducing both our consumption of plastic and the amount of packaging, and simplifying waste processing. We welcome your own commitment to the environment by reusing our jars; we urge you to continue by soaking them in hot, soapy water to facilitate label removal.

Tips for removing labels:
- Heat the label with a hair dryer. This will heat up the glue, making the label easier to remove.
- Apply a little oil (edible or body oil) to the label or glue residue, leave it to work and then wipe it off with a cloth.
- Never use aggressive substances such as acetone or pure benzine! These can attack the surface.
-Potz Xpert Adhesive Remover (item number 502030300000) is available from Migros supermarkets for easy removal of any remaining adhesive. Do it + Garden offersKlebex adhesive remover(item number 620141900000) for easy and complete removal of self-adhesive labels, adhesive residues or stickers. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, thank you for your reply, which is a fine example of green washing marketing. It's obvious that using relatively toxic products and hot water, which requires a high energy cost, is more polluting and energy-consuming than thin plastic film. From now on, our jars will end up being recycled, knowing that the labels are automatically destroyed during the recycling process, without any additional energy. Using easily removable glues on all your glass jars would have been a much more sustainable solution, in line with Migros' DNA, and perfectly feasible, knowing that Maille has been doing it for years. Sincerely

Why is it that I can no longer get the really good mayonnaise à la français in any of the surrounding stores? The Thomi cannot be compared and is barely edible. (slimy)

Hello muribe_2, we will be happy to check availability. Please let us know in which area you are shopping. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Utzenstorf or Gerlafingen! But I'm not interested in traveling the world for a jar of mayonnaise. I have preferred Migro products for years and expect to find them in my Migros store. It's interesting that half a store is available for Thomy products! Will Migros be swallowed up by Nestle next?

Hello muribe_2 We are pleased that you like the M-Classic Mayonnaise à la française so much. We do not offer all products in all stores. This is not possible due to lack of space. Depending on location and demand, a smaller store may or may not carry the product. The M-Classic Mayonnaise à la française cannot currently be stocked in the Utzenstorf or Gerlafingen branches due to the space already taken up. We are sorry that we cannot give you better information on this. You can find this mayonnaise in the Langendorf and Burgdorf branches, among others. We hope you can understand our decision and would be delighted to continue welcoming you to our stores. your M-Infoline team

Decision is not comprehensible. But the problem has been solved! Since the mayo à la française has a new label, it is no longer edible. Just as slimy as the Thomy and almost runny. A reduction in quality that is intolerable. Unfortunately, mayo is not the only one. Migros used to be the best and is now only mediocre.

Hello muribe_2, thank you very much for your feedback. We can well understand your objections about availability. Unfortunately, the decision was actually due to the limited space available. We are sorry that the taste of the mayonnaise did not convince you during your last purchase. Given your description, we understand your disappointment. In order to determine the cause, we would ask you to return the product you purchased to us by post or free of charge to your store's customer service department. Please note the following address on the parcel: Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund M-Infoline / Reference 20220730-0056 Limmatstrasse 152 8031 Zurich It is important to state the reference number 20220730-0056 so that we can assign the container to your request. We will of course cover any postage costs. Thank you in advance for your valuable support. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thank you for your quick reply. That's a load off my mind! I normally shop at Migros Wallisellen or Schwamendingen.

I would like the mayonnaise to be cholesterol free and the tube to be a handy size, not maxi. Thank you.

Then it is no longer mayonnaise but just a mixture of emulsifiers.
100 g of Thomynaise without cholesterol cost 98 centimes more than the same amount of this mayonnaise.

Hello peter.reithaar
We're sorry that you don't like the mayonnaise. However, we have to remove it from our range due to insufficient demand, so we will no longer be changing it.
We are currently looking into alternatives for this product. We hope that we will soon be able to offer a more popular mayonnaise.
