Hello manukk, the good news first - the mayo will remain in our range. Unfortunately, there are currently production problems. We are working flat out to make the product available again as soon as possible. We are currently assuming that we should receive the product again at the end of August. Has anything been changed in the recipe? I used to be able to buy my entire consumption a year in advance during a promotion. It was easy to store in an unrefrigerated cupboard. Far beyond the best-before date. But for a few months now, the tube I started using has been spoiling before the best-before date. It becomes rancid.

Hi huschi89, we have tried the mayo ourselves internally and have not found it to spoil too quickly. However, we will carry out more spot checks again. A general cause could be that the storage was not correct, the mayo was sometimes too warm, sometimes too cold or holes got into the tube. We can't say for sure after the fact. I am experiencing exactly the same problem. Something must have been changed. Mayo sometimes turns rancid after just one week in the fridge, even though the best-before date is still two months away. Migros quality assurance it's your turn!

Grüezi, is anything from the pig used here and was alcohol (ethanol) added in addition to natural alcohols (e.g. in vinegar)? Not even in the mustard? Thank you very much

Hello fatihoeztuerk, thank you for your inquiry. The product does not contain any added alcohol (ethanol) or pork. Only wine vinegar contains a residual alcohol of < 1.5 vol.%. According to the declaration on the tube, the mayonnaise is produced in Switzerland or France. What is the reason for importing it from France? For me, this is a reason to switch to other products, even from the competition.
