Hello,
I'd like to know where the cocoa in these madeleines comes from? Can you assure me of a fair and decent price paid to the growers of these beans? Can they support their families with dignity?
Why don't you indicate the origin of the raw materials in all your products? Consumers have the right to know where their food comes from, and the social and environmental impact of their purchases! It's all very well to make all your advertising "promises" targeting children, but first of all, don't take your customers for fools and clearly indicate what's in your products! I'm thinking in particular of the name "vegetable oil", which is very often palm oil...
Hi k3v8888,
Many thanks for your request. We assure you that our producers strictly respect our philosophy of sustainable development, that they are BRC certified and that they must of course respect our ethical principles.
The cocoa used for our marbled madeleines comes from West Africa, Indonesia, Peru and Ecuador. We always ensure that our declarations comply with all legal guidelines.
The Swiss Ordinance on Foodstuffs regulates product declarations very precisely. In principle, the country of production of raw materials for foodstuffs should only be indicated if the raw material in question represents a predominant part of the product, and if it cannot be inferred from the article designation that the raw material in question originates from a country other than that indicated for the foodstuff itself.

Inedible.
Exactly. But you don't notice it until a few minutes later, when you get a disgusting, furry aftertaste in your mouth that you almost can't get rid of. I'm convinced it has something to do with the soybean oil used instead of butter. This is probably the only way to achieve a shelf life of over 5 months. I bought a promotional three-pack without looking closely. Most of it is now in the bin. You should actually bake more yourself again.
Hello jeremias
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback.
We are sorry that you did not like the Magdalenas. Can you please let us know the M-date (sell by, use by) and the lot number? We can use this information to check our return samples.
Many thanks in advance.

Your wish is my command: Lot GM330 21:33, best before 27.5.2014. Lucky that the waste bag wasn't quite full yet.
