Hello Michi2000, thank you for your inquiry. We are pleased that you are interested in the product! We were happy to make further enquiries with the relevant specialist department. The latter took some time. We apologize for the wait. We no longer wish to withhold the results of our discussions from you. We review our recipes at regular intervals. We check all ingredients and in particular the additives for their necessity. In this context, we decided to remove both ascorbic acid and citric acid. During the subsequent tests, we noticed that it made no difference to the taste whether rapeseed oil was included or not. This prompted us to omit the raw material. We hope this insight behind the scenes is informative for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where do the ingredients come from? Unfortunately, more and more products from China are being used, which are repeatedly mixed with substances that are harmful to health.

Why does this product have 3Kcal less per 100g since the outside paper was changed? Ingredients are still exactly the same
5 years ago
Hi Michi2000, every new product that is added to the Migros range is analyzed for its nutritional value and a nutritional declaration is drawn up and printed on the packaging. Existing products are randomly checked for the correctness of the printed nutritional information and - if necessary - corrected. It is also important to be aware that nutritional values are subject to natural fluctuations and are not always exactly the same. The declaration for the lentils without bacon has been updated, the product now contains 1.8g fat instead of 2g /100g, this also has a (minimal!) effect on the energy content (85kcal instead of 87 kcal). Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Could this product be roasted without rice starch and wheat flour? Would be great
6 years ago
Hi Michi2000, thank you for your question. The proportion of rice starch and wheat flour in our M-Classic lentils without bacon is very low. It is less than 5 %. We will be happy to take your suggestion on board. If we do not implement it, or not immediately, we ask for your understanding. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, are these lentils vegan? Thank you very much.
Hi Caroline, the M-Classic Lard-Free Lentils product contains no ingredients or additives of animal origin and can therefore be described as vegan. However, it has not been certified vegan and therefore does not carry the corresponding V label on the packaging. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
