Hello Acalyanur, thank you for your message. The product is not completely vegetarian, as the foam filling is an egg white filling and contains egg white powder. The binders and stabilizers in the mass are not of animal origin. The wafer bases of the Kiss contain hen's egg powder. The coating glaze is free from animal fat and alcohol. Alcohol is used to disinfect the equipment and devices used to produce and fill the protein filling. Although pasteurized egg white powder is used, the egg white foam is a very risky product and requires thorough disinfection of all parts that come into contact with it. However, cross-contamination can be ruled out as the disinfectant alcohol evaporates completely. Devices and equipment are dry when used and contamination would be noticeable as the mass does not react well to alcohol and would collapse. This type of packaging is necessary because it is a very fragile product that can easily dent or break. We experience this with our M-Budget foam kisses. These have a simpler form of packaging and we have correspondingly more customer complaints about broken foam kisses.

I know the packaging of the budget foam kisses, almost just a half cardboard box, which is not very solidly "designed/composed". I transport carrot heads separately in a used knot bag or put them at the top of the shopping bag - just like eggs and potato chips, for example. Speaking of which: potato chips are at least as fragile as the foam kisses and are not sold in cartons or solid plastic wrappers - perhaps something could be "copied" in the packaging?
