Is this mixture vegetarian or is it still made with animal rennet?
Hi Aschenkindchen, unfortunately the cheesecake mix is not vegetarian, as the cheese is made with the help of animal rennet. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is this mixture lactose-free?
Hello _cei, the lactose in the cheeses used in the cheesecake mix is completely broken down during the maturing process, which is why the M-Classic cheesecake mix is also suitable for lactose-intolerant people. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I wanted to buy this cheese mix in Migros and Ebnat-Kappel today because I use it all the time and think it's just great! Unfortunately, the competent staff in the store had to put me off and told me that this item would no longer be delivered to the store. Other people got involved in the conversation and everyone was very sorry. Could this product please be restocked in 9642 Ebnat-Kappel? Kind regards
Hello Thomassss, thank you very much for your message. Unfortunately, we are unable to meet your request to include the M-Classic cheesecake mix in the Ebnat-Kappel store's range - at least for the moment. There is an established strategy for the shop design so that our stores of a similar size look the same. This means that all stores of a similar size in Switzerland have the same basic range. For the rest of the range, we do not work with individual items, but with so-called product groups - this is also to ensure uniformity in the stores.Whether a product is offered in a smaller store depends, among other things, on customer demand in the larger stores. If the demand for a product is high, it has a good chance of being moved up to another product range level and thus also being sold in smaller stores. We are sorry that we are currently unable to meet your request. However, our specialist department will be happy to take your product suggestion on board and review it during the next product range analysis.
We hope for your understanding and wish you a good day. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Hello and thank you for your reply. We very much regret this decision. Unfortunately, there is no real alternative when it comes to cheese blends. Only individual grated varieties. As the product range has undergone major changes in recent months/years, many popular products are no longer available in small stores. This also applies to MB tomato sauce, for example. But we won't be making the extra trip to the nearest larger Migros for these products. Fortunately, there is still the alternative with the competitor. Kind regards, Thomas

On the old packaging (see https://www.foodrepo.org/ch/products/12554) there was a very, very good quiche lorraine recipe with bacon and beaten egg white. Does anyone have it and can post it here? Merci!
Good evening And-res,Quiche Lorraine:Ingredients for a 28-30 cm diameter tray. 270g M puff pastry. 100g bacon slices, 1 large onion, 2dl milk, 1dl cream or yoghurt, 50g flour, 2 egg yolks, 2 egg whites, a little salt and nutmeg, 250g cheesecake mix. Place the rolled out pastry on a baking tray and prick several times. Cut the bacon slices into small strips, fry until translucent and spread over the pastry base. Fry the finely chopped onions in the remaining bacon fat until translucent. Place on top of the bacon. Sprinkle over the cheese mixture. Stir the glaze into a smooth batter, season and finally mix in the beaten egg whites. Spread over the cheese. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200-220°C for 25-30 minutes. Best wishes and bon appétit! Frederica

Hello, I used the cheese mixture on spaetzle, but only heated it insufficiently. Is there a risk of listeriosis? I am pregnant and am very worried.
Hello Melanie, sorry for the late reply. The risk of listeriosis from eating the cheesecake mix is negligible. A large proportion of the cheese mix consists of Swiss hard cheese made from raw milk; hard cheese made from raw milk is not considered to be a problem in terms of listeria and can be consumed without hesitation. Semi-hard cheese made from pasteurized milk is also used: Semi-hard cheese can theoretically be contaminated with listeria despite pasteurization, but the risk is extremely low. This mixture is perfect. Neither too thick nor too salty. Most delicious on a puff pastry.

Compared to the cheesecake recipe on the packaging, I have changed the dough mixture. See the ham cubes.
