For many years, indeed probably decades now... my beloved basic spice for Italian dishes. It is complemented with freshly chopped herbs. Also suitable sprinkled over a gratin or in/on egg dishes.
Suitable as an additional seasoning for water for dried beans in the cooking pot and for salad dressing.
