Hello At Migros, the original spelt classic flour has not been available for some time. If there is a supply interruption, would it be possible to post this on the shelves? Then we would know where we stand and wouldn't have to check every time we visit the store. Thank you.

Hello florianthievent, we are unable to offer this flour due to the shortage of raw materials. It will be available again with the new harvest around September. We recommend https://produkte.migros.ch/terrasuisse-urdinkel-mehl-hell as an alternative. We will take your input on shelf labeling on board. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Unfortunately, the iced tea Zero Peach is no longer available in the 1 liter bottle. Why do you only get the small bottles? Iced Tea Zero Lemon is still available, but I would like something different for a change.

Hello bodemann58, we are not aware of any liter bottles of Ice Tea Peach Zero, only the half-liter bottle, which we continue to offer. The Ice Tea Zero Peach powder also provides variety. However, we have taken your request on board and will consider it for the next changes to the range. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Where is the classic original spelt flour? Today there was something else on the shelf where it usually is and it's not labeled... I really hope it hasn't been taken out of the range!

Hello dabudue, unfortunately there is a supply interruption for this flour. It will only be available again with the new harvest from around September. As an alternative, we recommend TerraSuisse original spelt flour light. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear M-Infoline I wanted to buy classic original spelt flour at Migros Zugerland Steinhausen. Unfortunately, it was not available and no longer marked on the shelf. Online it says that stock is critical. Will the flour be taken out of the range? The shelf does not say whether there is a supply interruption. Many thanks and best regards

Hello kyralia31, thank you for your message. Unfortunately, there is a general shortage of spelt at the moment. The situation will probably only ease after the next harvest in the fall. This is why some of our other spelt flours are also not available. We are sorry not to be able to give you any better news. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, does this flour contain gluten? Thank you. Best regards

Hi Gouloumi Spelt is an ancient type of cereal from which today's wheat developed. Spelt and wheat are therefore closely related. In recent years, crosses have been made between these two cereals in order to pass on the advantageous agronomic properties of wheat to spelt. Modern spelt is thus a blend of ancient spelt and wheat. Both ancient spelt (e.g. the spelt flour you mentioned) and modern spelt contain gluten and are therefore unsuitable for people with wheat allergies or coeliac disease. With kindest regards your M-Infoline team

Dear Sir or Madam I bought a kilo bag of original spelt flour about 10 days ago, but somehow it wasn't like the last one. Now I have found what I was looking for. In your composition you write 80% original spelt semi-white flour and 20% original spelt meal. But the meal was definitely missing from my kilo of flour. How do you explain this situation? Kind regards

Hello hippiebus, thank you very much for your post. We're sorry that the flour was apparently not perfect. Could you give us the best-before date and the lot number (mixture of numbers and letters)? Then we can check whether and what exactly went wrong during production. Thank you and best regards, your M-Infoline team

A wholemeal original spelt flour would be even better. Perhaps you could pass on this wish? Others have already asked for it...

Hello janibe00

It's funny. I have a pure wheat allergy and can tolerate gluten. Now I made a pizza with the spelt stuff yesterday and still got a flare up. Is there wheat in it or not?
It would be great if someone who knows for sure could give me an answer.
Greetings from Vorarlberg

Hello KuglerM
Thank you for your contribution. 100% Swiss original spelt is used in the production of Terrasuisse original spelt flour. As wheat and rye are also milled and filled on the milling and packaging systems in addition to original spelt, traces of wheat cannot be ruled out in this flour. For this reason, spelt may contain wheat in the micro range, although this is complied with in accordance with legal requirements.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We still hope to be able to welcome you to your Migros.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

Hello KuglerM
I am also allergic to wheat and recently stumbled across an interesting article that may shed some light on the "spelt" mystery;-))
There are two problems: 1. spelt is often grown next to wheat, which often results in a "mixed form". And the second problem is even nastier, because the original spelt is very susceptible to many diseases and weather conditions. In order to make it more resistant, some clever guys have now decided to genetically cross the original spelt with wheat.
And we allergy sufferers react precisely to this component. I don't know whether Mirgos uses genetically modified spelt, but keep your hands off spelt products.
Greetings

Please no flour on packaging and please no flour on shelves.

Hello guest
What exactly do you mean by that? Is it about the presentation of goods in a store (expired packs). If so, where did you notice this?
Best regards
