Can't you change this product to sugar-free? Most customers who buy extra spelt probably don't want sugar in their product either. Thank you :)
Hello CoCo___, thank you very much for your suggestion about the original spelt rusk. We understand your desire for less sugar. This is also very important to us and we optimize our recipes wherever possible. We will be happy to take your suggestion on board and discuss the possibilities with the manufacturer. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

My daughter has a wheat and granulated sugar intolerance, and if the granulated sugar were replaced by cane sugar, she could enjoy this good rusk, like others with this not uncommon intolerance combination, and I could save myself a trip to the health food store.
Dear guest
Thank you for your contribution.
When developing new products and changing recipes, we make sure that as few allergenic ingredients as possible are used and that contamination with allergens from the raw materials is avoided. Preventing cross-contamination is a top priority throughout the entire manufacturing process. Nevertheless, it is hardly possible for us to cater for all allergy sufferers.
Sugar is a collective term for all sweet-tasting saccharides (monosaccharides and disaccharides), but is also the trade name for the disaccharide sucrose.
Cane sugar is the trade name for household sugar obtained from sugar cane. The sugar mainly produced in Central Europe, on the other hand, is obtained from sugar beet and is called beet sugar.
If your daughter suffers from sucrose intolerance, she would not be well served by cane sugar either.
The rusk would therefore have to be sweetened with fructose or lactose, which would result in an enormous change to the recipe.
We therefore hope for your understanding and wish you a nice fall day.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team
