A tried and tested product for stock.
I'm following your consumers' lead on packaging. I freeze the 2nd loaf even for a short period of time, which is the best way to preserve it. On the other hand, I found the bread to be very good.
I'd prefer it if the two loaves were individually wrapped and separated. If you don't have a device to re-weld the plastic, the second loaf dries very, very, very quickly.
These baguettes 🥖 are good and practical, but we're not at all thrilled with the new packaging! You now have to systematically heat the 2, whereas before they were separate. What's more, the chopsticks seem much smaller...What a shame! Once again, cost-cutting at the consumer's expense... 😔
Also for my sister, she loves it, but not all the migros in the region either.
New packaging reflects the Migros Group. Why do you leave out the center seam? I only need one roll at a time
The bread is still good, but:
- The packaging (as mentioned by many others) is now very impractical because you always need both loaves at once. For a product that would otherwise have a relatively long shelf life as a practical storage item, this is a major unnecessary disadvantage.
- The shape is now more uneven. Although it looks more "handmade" and therefore perhaps "higher quality" to marketing eyes, it is less suitable for use as a sandwich or similar.
It's a shame that this previously very good product has been unnecessarily downgraded.
Before the new packaging, it was an item that often ended up in our shopping trolley. With the new, no longer separated packaging, unfortunately no longer usable as we rarely eat both loaves on the same day. "Better quality" definitely does not apply to the packaging. The fact that the loaves are even smaller is the icing on the cake.
Brings back the old version. With separate packaging and in a longer version. No longer suitable for hot dogs - and a hidden surcharge. Not like this!
Advantage of the new pack: the buns are slightly shorter and fit better in the Airfryer
Disadvantage: no longer individually wrapped, you don't always need two at a time, and baking both and eating one the next day is not a good idea - it's already very dry.
Conclusion: it was better and more practical before
