So, there is a red sticker on the packaging with the text: New design, same contents, less packaging. Unfortunately, the new packaging doesn't convince me at all! At least 4 olives were crushed and no longer looked very appetizing. I had to cut the packaging carefully and at an angle to avoid splitting these olives.
I think that this cost-cutting measure was well-intentioned but at the expense of quality. What a shame!

The problem here was that the olives were not packed properly in the packaging and were crushed during shipping. We have asked the supplier to carry out an even more thorough check when sorting out the olives.
