Will the cooking time be shorter if I pickle the yellow peas?

Hi Michi2000, thank you for your question. Yes, the cooking time will be shorter. However, with yellow peas there is a risk that they will fall apart when they are subsequently cooked. With halved pulses, it is also difficult to say how long they need to be soaked and cooked. This would depend on the water temperature and soaking time. We are therefore unable to give you a cooking recommendation with soaking. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Unfortunately, I cannot rate this product. It is not available in your store in 4104 Oberwil (contrary to your information.) The staff do not know this item. I am interested to know why neither yellow broom nor pea soup are available? 5.5.2017

. Hello old customer, The product should be available in the Oberwil store, at least that's what our system says. It can be found among the pulses (chickpeas, lentils, etc.) in the Food department. Alternatively, you can also find it in the Reinach-Zetrum, Binnigen-Zentrum or Arlesheim outlets. In the case of pea soup, we still need to know exactly which one is meant. You also write that you can't register. Does an error message appear? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Pea soup is just pea soup, such as Knorr, Maggi and all other brands, including own brands, which may be available at MMM Oberwil/BL! Many thanks for your efforts and best regards. 9.5.17

Hello old customer, thank you for your feedback. We only have the Bon Chef fine pea and bacon soup that we can recommend to you. It would be in the range in Oberwil. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Can you tell me the botanical genus + species name of the yellow peas? or do these yellow peas belong to the genus/species: Cajanus/shrub peas? Thank you very much.

Hello franzbirr Thank you for your question. Our yellow peas belong to the genus Pisum and not Cajanus. We wish you happy summer days and see you soon in your Migros. Greetings from your M-Infoline team

Hello, I am looking for the delicious recipe for golden pea casserole and can't find it anywhere. Unfortunately, I haven't written it down. Can you let me know and thank you very much.

Hello snowbear Thank you for your interest, we will be happy to give you the recipe: Main course for 4 people: Cut 50g bacon into small pieces, chop 1 red onion, sauté well with 1 bay leaf in 1 tbsp olive oil. Add 250g yellow peas and sauté briefly. Deglaze with 1dl white wine and 8dl water. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Cut 50g pitted black olives into small cubes, add with 1.5 cubes of vegetable stock and simmer uncovered for a further 20 minutes (approx.) until only a little liquid remains. Remove the bay leaf and leave to cool slightly. Whisk 2 eggs with 0.5 dl cream, cut 1/2 bunch of basil into strips and add to the peas. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour into a gratin dish and bake in the middle of the preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes. Tip: Also goes well with rolled ham. We hope this has been helpful and hope you enjoy cooking it. Your M-Infoline team

Origin: Packed in Switzerland by Delica AG... But where were the yellow peas grown?

Hello fonero Yellow peas can also come from different countries. The origin is always declared on the packaging - please note this. At the moment, the yellow peas come from Canada and the Czech Republic. Kind regards from your M-Infoline team

Hi
We thank you for your question.
Unfortunately, this item is not available from the Ticino Cooperative. There are also no plans to introduce M-Classic yellow peas in Ticino. In the rest of Switzerland, this product is available at all major branches.
We trust in your understanding and look forward to your next visit. See you soon at your Migros!

My recent order was to buy yellow half-peas at Migros 5330 Bad Zurzach, which were intended for lunch. Unfortunately, they were nowhere to be found and, according to the staff, they had been taken out of the range some time ago. Now, what to do with the planned lunch? - I think that yellow half-whisks belong in a store like the one in Bad Zurzach, especially as you can't find them anywhere in Bad Zurzach. On the other hand, there were three or four different types of food on site, perhaps two would be enough. On the other hand, when I think how much dog and cat food there is in the racks, there would certainly be room for yellow half-peas. As an excuse, you will say that too few yellow half-peas have been moved.

oh no, please don't take them out of the range! Are they still available in the Migros Cooperative Zurich or are they being removed throughout Switzerland?

Hello guest
Thank you for your interest in our product.
The halved yellow peas have not been removed from the range. They are still available - but only in larger stores. You can find them in Baden, Lenzburg, Aarau, Brugg or Wohlen, for example.
We hope this helps you and wish you a nice autumn day. Your M-Infoline Team
