what kind of foam is it? and is it guaranteed safe for health, even when worn every night for long periods? some brands such as ohropax have been tested for this, so it seems like it's an issue... probably doesn't matter for occasional wear e.g. going out/concert, otherwise they wouldn't be for sale - but 8 hours a day is something else. and this is such a no-name brand, it's hard to find data.
Hello maoow, thank you for your inquiry. Our supplier has informed us of the following:
All earplugs sold by us in Switzerland and the EU must comply with strict standards, e.g. regarding ingredients, and are repeatedly checked for strict compliance by the responsible bodies and consumer organizations. We are happy to inform you that you have absolutely nothing to worry about, even if you wear them regularly and for hours on end (e.g. when sleeping). Otherwise we would definitely not be allowed to and would not offer such earplugs. The company has been active in the field of earplugs for over 30 years and has a great deal of experience in this area. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
thanks for the answer. so i assume they are safe. probably. although... apart from many assurances, there is still no exact information about what kind of foam, or what this company is actually called, who tested it, etc... in the test I mentioned, there were certainly more or less well-known companies represented that have been offering more or less tested earplugs for some time, and which were nevertheless classified as scarce/insufficient in the test. that's why it's important to have exact information so that you as a customer can research it yourself.
Why? You can only test, rate and make Migros even better if you're logged in.
