Did you know that carrageenan (E407) is carcinogenic?
Please remove it, as it is not really necessary here.
Thank you for your inquiry. The stabilizer E407 (carrageenan) is necessary to stabilize the cream contained in the product. The amount used is minimal. The industrial nature of food production and the requirements for quality, safety, preservation, etc. necessitate the use of additives in many cases. This also applies to Migros products. Best regards, Your M-Infoline team
From a legal perspective, the guidelines of the federal government, which is responsible for risk assessment and the evaluation of additives, are decisive for Migros. The Additives Ordinance regulates the admissibility of various substances and lists the areas of application and maximum quantities. Switzerland coordinates its decisions with international authorities. If the federal government adapts its regulations on the use of additives such as carrageenan, Migros will of course comply.
At Migros, the principle of "as much as necessary, as little as possible" is applied to the use of additives. We are constantly working to make our recipes more natural and – as far as possible – to reduce or completely eliminate additives.

What is the E number of the starch used?
Hello MarzipanFish
Modified starches are only declared under the generic name (i.e. without an E number or individual designation). This exception for modified starches is expressly laid down in the Foodstuffs Act. As modified starches are a separate functional class, no further functional class must be indicated.
If modified starches are produced from gluten-containing raw materials, the origin must be indicated and the gluten-containing ingredient highlighted: "modified wheat starch".

For a few weeks now, this cream has been liquid. We liked it because it was creamy. Have you changed the recipe? If so, please let me know, as we would stop buying it. What a shame!
Hi there,
Many thanks for your feedback.
It's as unpleasant for us as it is for you that a product doesn't meet our requirements. We noticed that the thickener we used had a weaker effect than normal. However, this was only noticed after a few days. We apologize for this.
As soon as we realized what was happening, we changed the recipe to restore the usual quality.
We wish you a lovely sunny summer. See you soon at Migros!
Best regards Your M-Infoline team

The dark chocolate variant used to be great, but has not been found for some time. Why?
Hi Lucadem,
Thank you for your comment.
It is not our understanding that M-Classic Crème desserts have been removed from the assortment. Nor have there been any changes in the assortment level of these items in the past two years. Perhaps you can no longer find the product because there has been a break in supply to your branch. But the product is still on sale!
We hope this information will help you and wish you a good day.
See you soon in your Migros!
Sincerely Your M-Infoline Team
