Dear Migros team I wanted to take a quick look here to see if there have been any questions about a change to the recipe as, like "steilina", I am currently struggling with the "rancid" taste of the last 2 cups. The numbers are identical to the lady below. I would also have a photo if required. However, I already had this problem with one cup about 2 weeks ago. I put it down to the fact that it had "already" been expired for 2 days (although otherwise you could easily still enjoy it 1 month after the best-before date) I hope I get positive feedback from you! Hello Loewenmutti, thank you for your message about the Cottage Cheese. The specialist department has informed us that we can rule out a general problem. The deviation must have occurred selectively. We removed the added sugar from the recipe a few weeks ago. However, this adjustment should not have such an impact. We are of course keeping an eye on the issue. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Dear Migros. I ALWAYS ALWAYS have the product in the fridge, I love it sooo... only the last two packs (bought in the current promotion as a duo) smelled and tasted as if they had expired, as if they were stale, rancid... even with my mother. Is there a production error? I'll buy again tomorrow and hope this one tastes good again...

Hello steilina, thank you for your report. Please let us know the lot number (letters and numbers) and the expiration date of at least one of the affected cups. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello MInfoline I don't know exactly which letters and numbers. I found these 2006.033 CH243 4 ART 7613404412930 Otherwise I can send a photo.

Hello steilina, thank you for your feedback on Cottage Cheese and for providing the data. The specialist department has informed us that we can rule out a general problem. The deviation must have occurred selectively. However, we removed the added sugar from the recipe a few weeks ago. However, this adjustment has not had the consequences you describe. We are of course keeping an eye on the issue. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

This cottage cheese has always been part of my daily diet - until now it tasted delicious! However, for the last 3 days it has been a constant spice and salt shock! Really inedible. (Shopping in various branches in the city of Bern) What's the problem? I hope this concerns "only" one batch and not a new recipe? I look forward to hearing back; until then I will refrain from another disappointing purchase.

Hello White_Angel, thank you for your message. Could you give us the lot number and the best-before date? Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I no longer have the packaging in the house.

Hello White_Angel, thank you very much for your feedback. There has effectively been a small adjustment to the recipe. We have removed the small amount of added sugar from the recipe. As a cottage cheese fan, we are happy to take your valuable feedback on board. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thanks for the research. I will therefore switch to the "Nature" variant. A reduction in sugar is to be advocated, but unfortunately I don't like the new recipe at all.

Sugar-free is great, but this and Nature are far too watery. But it's always been like that. I only buy it at Lidl or Aldi now

Grüezi, is it alcohol-free (e.g. ethanol - e.g. for natural flavors). Thank you very much! Question asked on

Hello fatihoeztuerk, thank you for your inquiry. The recipe does not contain any alcoholic ingredients and, to the best of our knowledge and belief, neither do its preliminary products. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is it possible that something has been changed in the recipe or production recently? The last three packs contained an unusually large amount of liquid and the cheese has lost some of its graininess. No longer a pleasure at all and a huge "mess" when making sandwiches. What could be the reason for this? Thank you very much!

Hello Sumpfhuen
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Can you please let us know the M-date (for sale by, to be used by) and the lot number (number starting with letters or mixed)? This will enable us to check our retained samples and clarify the situation.
Many thanks in advance.

I have now - unfortunately - disposed of the pack. But I'll see how the next one performs and get back to you if necessary. Thanks for your reply!

I would be delighted to find a "Léger cottage cheese" in the Mikros again. They suddenly disappeared from the shelves a long time ago.

Hi Mala82
Thank you for your suggestion. We will be happy to consider this suggestion during the next product range analysis. Unfortunately, we can't promise you anything, so please don't be disappointed if it's not implemented immediately or not at all.
See you soon in your Migros!
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

With cottage cheese, not much can be gained in terms of calories. Leger products do not always have better macros than the others. At most, the fat content could probably be reduced a little, but 4g/100g is already quite low, and cottage cheese is generally very diet-friendly anyway.

WISO ZUCKER?!

Dear guest
Thank you for your interest.
The liquid added to the curd contains a lot of salt, which has various properties. A little sugar is added to round off the taste.
Your M-Infoline team wishes you a pleasant week.

The last two times it went moldy after two days.

What a pity :-(

Hello moz

Thank you for your feedback on the M-Classic Cottage Cheese chives.
We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the quality of the M-Classic Cottage Cheese chives from our range. In order for us to investigate this matter, we need the M-Data (date of sale and/or use by date) and the batch or lot number of the product.
With the help of this number, we can check when exactly the affected product was manufactured and whether errors occurred during production at that time. You will normally find the lot/batch number next to the best-before date, usually starting with the letter L or a mixture of letters and numbers.
Best regards

Sorry guys, if it gets moldy it goes in the trash. I've just noticed that the cottage cheese with chives tends to go moldy more than the plain cheese. That's kind of logical.

Highly recommended and also delicious! Only today, unfortunately, I also found a black, roundish beetle about 7mm in size with a hard shell, which gives me concerns about hygiene during production! But what doesn't kill me makes me stronger.

Oh yes, stop banging on about the few grams of sugar all the time. Any educated person knows that carbohydrates are nothing more than sugar chains (just not labeled as sugar for certain reasons). This means that pasta, bread, cereals, especially potatoes and much more are simply made of sugar! Without sugar, primarily glucose, we would hardly survive, as sugar is our primary source of energy. I even drink sugar water before exercise from time to time.
It's better to pay attention to the fat content, because almost everyone exceeds the recommended limit of 60-90g of fat per day.
Otherwise you can always find out how important sugar is on Wikipedia, for example!
