Couldn't the drink also be offered in small Migros? The small and large ones are available in small Migros. You can only get 500g as a high-protein drink and at double the price. You could list the 6x250ml for it...

Dear Migros What have you done with this top product? The new recipe doesn't taste good. It also contains more fat and calories than the previous product. The taste is very similar to a cheap line from one of your competitors. Has there been any feedback that the recipe for this chocolate drink should be changed? With almost 5 stars, the previous recipe probably met the taste. I am concerned that the new recipe has more calories and it is definitely no longer on my shopping list.

If it now has more fat, it can only be that the skimmed milk has now been replaced by whole milk/cream, but I don't think so. Think of the delicious "Heidi" chocolate drink, a calorie bomb but tasty, are they still available? I'm curious to see what Migros will say.

Hello leachim5, we are sorry that you no longer like the taste of the Choco Drink in the revised recipe! The taste has become a little fuller due to the slightly higher fat content. The recipe was deliberately changed. The note in red says "improved formula" but the formula has been worsened! The LOT number is: G04:28 R219L001884

I've just realized the same thing. In terms of taste, it no longer hits the "nerve" with me. What a pity. I've liked this drink a lot for years and have enjoyed it again and again. The new recipe also has more calories.

Has anything been changed in the recipe or not? Not much can be changed, the list of ingredients is straightforward, skimmed milk, chocolate, sugar, thickeners, nothing more, perhaps a little less chocolate preparation (low fat) and/or less sugar, which is what many consumers now want. Does the alleged new version really have more calories?

We tested the new recipe with more than 60 people - together with other variants on the market. The new recipe performed the best and the previous recipe the weakest. Migros is always preaching and writing about less sugar and how unhealthy it is, but you change products with more sugar or launch new products with sugar (e.g. almond drink m-budget etc.). This is complete nonsense!

it's exciting that the new recipe performed best with more than 60 test persons. but i guess the sensory experience is different. i just had to smile, because himbo was also replaced by tuca himbo, which supposedly performed top and had to be adjusted in terms of recipe technology about a year later due to bad feedback. i now buy the choco drinks at lidl and aldi. they taste good and not as artificial and cheap as the m-classic drink.

Great product in terms of content, but the packaging is a complete misconstruction. I don't think it's the opening that's the problem, but the fact that you can't empty the drink no matter how you twist and turn the tetra pack. A certain amount always remains in the pack and is thrown in the garbage can. With today's current issues such as food waste, such packaging should be revised. Kind regards

Our specialists have checked various cooling options. Unfortunately, we cannot place the Choco drink in the soft drinks category as it is a different rayon. The milk drink is located with the dairy products and therefore cannot be positioned anywhere else.
The possibility of placing the drink in the refrigerators for dairy products was also examined intensively. Unfortunately, this is not possible due to organizational obstacles.

Thank you for your feedback.
We regret that you are no longer satisfied with our M-Classic Choco Drink. No changes have been made to the recipe. However, we recently had a product withdrawal of this product. Quality controls at our supplier had shown that the taste of the drink did not meet the quality requirements. Some products had a sour taste (as you also noted), others had an atypical, bland aftertaste. As this is a quality problem, there was NO health risk to consumers at any time.
If you still have packs from the old batch, you are welcome to bring them back to the Migros store and your money will be refunded. The new products are of perfect quality again.

The milk would be great and my sweetheart has been drinking a large Choco Drink every day for years. Now comes the big BUT: The cap is absolute shit (sorry for my expression) I go to the Coop and buy the Choco Drink there because everything comes out and I don't have to stick my finger in the chocolate.

We are aware of the problem you mentioned with the 500ml packaging.
When introducing the new milk packaging, our efforts focused on points such as easy pouring and good resealability of the milk carton. A certain amount of force is required to open the carton, as the rotary movement pushes through the spout opening by means of a hinged mechanism. It can happen that the aluminum underneath is not opened properly due to the piercing device (three prongs) in the lid.
Naturally, we are working with our packaging supplier to make opening the packaging as easy as possible. If there is a possibility for improvement, we will look into it.
