I find it alarming that many things are now only written in English everywhere, even though we do not live in an English-speaking country and the product does not come from such a country, but from a production site somewhere in Switzerland! I would ask you to reconsider this. Strawberry, peppermint, exotic - all of these can also look modern on beautiful packaging!
Hi Jgoegb, whenever possible, we use the three national languages. Using English, which is so current and widely spoken, is a way of saving space that is often not available for a trilingual version.
Product names, slogans, etc. can be "non-Swiss" if there is no space available and no other expressive word can be found that is equally understandable for all parts of the country, or if Anglicisms are common in a particular submarket. In other words, we only use English terms if they are customary in the target group's industry and have been learned and are generally understandable in all three national languages.
