Hello, when will the nitrites be removed from these products? Does your branch sell cervelas without nitrites? That would be a great step forward....

Hi caaaaro6, curing substances (nitrate/nitrite) are important for the color, taste and safety of meat products - and are allowed even in organic products. Producing cured meats without curing is a challenge! All sausages that undergo a reddening process contain nitrite brine. This includes all cervelat, sausages and raw sausages (salami, Landjäger), but also all cured meats (Lyoner, ham, etc.). Veal and pork sausages, cipollata, white sausages and merguez contain no nitrite cured salt. We are working on expanding our range of nitrite-free meat products. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is this Cervelat lactose-free?or which variant is there?

Hello Schmidlin13, the M-Classic Cervelas does not contain any lactose-containing ingredients, nor should any traces be expected due to carry-over. In Switzerland, the labeling requirement for allergenic ingredients applies. If a product contains dairy ingredients (milk, cream, butter, cheese, yoghurt, quark, whey, lactose, etc.), this must be openly declared. Traces due to unintentional mixing during the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "May contain milk" or "May contain traces of milk". Could a fat-reduced variant be introduced, e.g. Léger? I think a lot of people would buy this product.

Cervelath skin very different. I have noticed that there are always differences in the cervelat skin. The color of the cervelat is the most important factor. The lighter-colored cervelat is very easy to peel, and the whole skin comes with it. As soon as the color of the cervelat is a little darker brown. I now know that they don't peel well, some of the skin sticks. Or when eating cold, it seems as if the skin is still on. Is this deliberate or a manufacturing process that is not always the same? For example, the cervelat pair 031112 L-0024702284, which can be kept until 16.03.18, was again very difficult to peel. Many thanks

Hello huberswen, thank you for your feedback on our M-Classic Cervelas. We have several suppliers for this item. The smoking process can vary slightly depending on the manufacturer. The lighter cervelas were in the smokehouse for slightly less time than the darker ones. As this is a natural product, slight variations may occur. However, the quality is impeccable, even if the products are slightly darker. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Did you change the recipe??? I can't find the taste I liked so much!

Hello danchar, thank you for your contribution. We are pleased to inform you that this product has not been modified. Could you describe more precisely why the taste was not good? Also, do you have the expiration date and batch number of the packaging concerned to hand? With best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good evening I would like to ask you if you have recently changed anything about the foil on this product? I eat this Cervelat every week, but recently it has become difficult to separate them. Either it tears the other Cervelat and it takes a lot of force or you have to get a knife. It used to be no problem to separate the pair. Now one is always a waste product unless you need two.

Hello huberswen Thank you for taking the time to write to us. One of our products has given cause for complaint - we apologize. Nothing has been changed to the film. The perforation is made with a knife whose cutting performance is tested regularly. If it turns out that the packs can no longer be "easily" separated from each other, the knife is replaced. Apparently, before the last knife change, packs were still being produced that could no longer be separated as usual. In the meantime, the problem should have been solved. We hope that we can continue to count you among our valued customers and wish you a nice, sunny day. Best regards and see you soon from the M-Infoline team

We have 3 small children. The cervelats from Migros are very popular with them. However, a whole cervelat is often too big for one child and only half or 3/4 of it is eaten. This leaves leftovers at the barbecue, which have to be disposed of from time to time. Couldn't Migros include a kind of Cervelat Kids in its range, which would only be 3/4 the size of today's Cervelats? That would be a great help to us. We think that other parents will see it the same way or in a similar way.
