Hello, I'd like to know if this corn is GMO-free or not? Can we assume that all products sold at Migros are GMO-free? Thank you very much.

Hello Axel123, thank you for your question. Migros does not sell genetically modified plant foods such as fruit, vegetables and cereals in its range. It relies on conventional varieties. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good evening, I am desperately missing the frozen corn from Farmer's Best. Is it no longer available? That would be a great pity... Thank you very much!

Hello Vielfrass, thank you for your inquiry. We have indeed removed Farmer's Best Organic Corn from our range due to a product range revision. We are currently working on a successor product. We are not yet able to tell you when this will be available in the store. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I have just bought one of these tins and the nutritional information on my product is very different! 100g in my can have 53kcal. It says half a can 143g = 76kcal... So what is correct?
Hello Lelele, thank you for your message. We understand that the different information raises questions. We would be happy to tell you how this comes about: we source our corn kernels from various suppliers. Unfortunately, we don't have enough space to list the nutritional values of all manufacturers online. For this reason, we decided to publish the information of one producer. However, the composition that you find on the label applies in each case. We hope these lines are informative for you. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thank you very much for your prompt response! Does this mean that I can always rely on the fact that what is written directly on the packaging is actually correct?

Hello Lelele, thank you for your feedback. Your assumption is correct: the information on the label comes from the respective supplier and refers to the contents of the can. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I used to buy the unsalted MClassic version, but it's no longer on sale. There's now only the organic version, which costs 60% more (!). My question: will the unsalted MClassic version be back in the range?
Hello Meyrinos, thank you for your inquiry. We are pleased to provide you with the information you requested: as you rightly pointed out, we now offer the unsalted version only in organic quality, as demand for organic products is very high and continues to grow. At the same time, space on our shelves is limited, so we can't offer a conventional item and its organic variety for all products. Given the popularity of the organic version, we opted for this one. For the time being, we have no plans to reintroduce the conventional product into our range. Nevertheless, we have informed the people in charge of the estate of your wish. We will keep a close eye on this matter and make any necessary adjustments. Yours sincerely, the M-Infoline team

I really liked the corn and was glad that it didn't have as many calories as the other varieties, but recently I've noticed that there are more and more different cans of corn on the shelves and the can shown above is almost never there, although the stores where I go shopping clearly state that this product is available... So my question is: Will this corn now be replaced by the others, or are there any problems importing it?

Hello guest1237472819, this product is still in stock and we are not aware of any supply problems. However, the article "M-Classic corn kernels without salt" has been replaced by the article "Organic corn kernels without salt". Unfortunately, I can't link these to you as they are not on Migipedia, but maybe you are missing this article? The packaging has a green label instead of orange. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Thanks for the quick reply! Anyway, I looked in several stores today and only found this one with 112 calories per ½ can (143 grams). The one pictured above, as far as I can see, only has 76 per ½ can, unless I made a mistake. :)

In the store in Brienz and in Meiringen an der Aare. I have found it once more, but that was 2 weeks ago. Maybe it will soon be back in the assortment :)

I noticed today that this corn was processed in Thailand. I will definitely not buy it again, what a shame!

Hello Leschö
We have not been supplied by maize suppliers from Thailand for over three years. We currently source our maize from Hungary, France and the USA. As Swiss production cannot keep up with the high demand for maize, we have to source the raw material from other geographical channels. All retailers of our size are faced with this situation.

Aldi and Lidl have tins with an opening ring. Unfortunately, Migros, Denner and Coop still rely on can openers. Can't that be changed?

Unfortunately, that's the case, but I'm optimistic that it will come.
It's already there with Pellatti.

Thank you for your input.
Whether or not a can can be offered with an opening ring depends on the manufacturer. Not all manufacturers can attach these rings. This is currently not possible for us.
Best regards
