Why has the recipe for the preparation on the packet been changed? Wasn't there one part water and one part milk until recently?
Hello Marina92MM, thank you for your question. The product used to come from Germany, the current one comes from northern Italy (Piedmont). The corn now contains other varieties and therefore the recipe has been slightly adapted on the recommendation of the new supplier. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, I have just prepared the polenta. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. The taste and texture are not much like the 'old' polenta. It would be helpful if consumers were informed about the new product with the same name.
Hello maruschkka, Thank you very much for your feedback on the polenta. We are sorry that it no longer tastes as good to you. We have changed the production location for this product. The previous product was produced in Germany, now in northern Italy. The corn now also comes from Italy. These two factors can lead to certain differences in the end product. By adding more or less liquid, you can control the consistency to your liking. We very much hope that this will help you achieve the polenta you want. We have passed on your suggestion for a corresponding note on the packaging to the specialist department so that they can check for adjustments if necessary. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello Has the composition or the manufacturer of this product changed (with new packaging)? We have been consuming m-classic polenta fine for several years and couldn't help but notice that the consistency and flavor of the polenta has changed massively this year. The old polenta was drier and much chunkier, whereas the new polenta fine and medium is a porridge that even dries out after a few minutes in the air and forms a kind of layer that we find unpleasant to consume (we followed the manufacturing instructions). Is the old polenta still available under a different name in your range? Kind regards
Hello Hkauflin1, thank you for your question. Can you please tell us the best before date (BBD) and the lot number next to it on your pack? The latter usually begins with an L or there is a mixture of numbers and letters. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
The best before date of the polenta fine is 01.2022 with the lot number 0121183
Hello Hkauflin1, thank you for your patience. This polenta is actually a product that is made at a different production site with a different origin of the raw material. However, the recipe is the same. The previous product came from Germany, the current one from northern Italy (Piedmont). The raw material is slightly different, as the maize varieties grown in Italy are not necessarily the same as those grown in northern Europe and the growing conditions are different. It is therefore normal to see changes in texture, aroma and even color, but by replacing the previous product, we have tried to reduce some defects. By selecting the kernels more accurately, we were able to reduce the presence of black spots. We were also able to reduce the proportion of white grains. For practical reasons, to prevent the polenta from drying out quickly, we can recommend the following: Add a dash of oil to the cooking water before adding the polenta, add more water or alternatively reduce the cooking time. We'll get back to you privately in a moment. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Food law stipulates that the origin must also be declared in online retail (i.e. LeShop). This is not the case with this product.
